After leaving Jake that night I didn't feel the same. Everything hurt and everything I did seemed to never work. I couldn't get out of bed and I could feel my heart squeezing my chest to the point where I felt I couldn't breathe. I didn't leave my room at all and I didn't talk to anyone. I kept telling myself that I needed to let him go and move on, to focus on something else.
On Monday, I woke up to my mother banging on my bedroom door telling me I needed to go to school. I replied to her banging with a loud groan and begging to be home schooled. She opened the door, looked at me and said, "No!" before walking away and saying that I need to be downstairs in one hour. I rolled my eyes and started to get ready. By the time I was done, school was to start at about 20 minutes. There was no way I was going to school on time, but some how with my mothers determination and my father's speed, I was able to be in school with only 10 minutes to spare.
