She has these eyes to captivate you
And her smile stops your heart
And the way at the end of the day her smile fades into a tired look
But all the while, it's truly a masterpiece.
And she has this lovely hair
Laying down or pulled up its beautiful
She has a way of speaking
Her voice changes with her emotions
Playful one minute, loving the next, it's never the same.
She has a way with words
More poetic than I could write
Does she know how much I want her
Even the times we fall asleep and she wakes up with her makeup smeared
Even the times she makes these sunsets brighter
With her I see a future
I have no idea what it holds
But this is all I want
Me and her
Until then I'll act like I wanted to just be friends all along
And hope she figures out I love her more than life
