Charlene's POV

I stared at the floor. How could I have gotten caught so easily, I scolded myself. Derek sat next to me, and I sensed that he was worried, scared and even a bit guilty. I don't care though, I'll still get my revenge on him. My dad sat his desk, looking at me angrily.

" I can't believe you Charlene! " He said. I sat silently, staring him in the eye.

" Really, I am pretty disappointed with you. There was no reason to be so mean to your brother. "

" This was all his fault anyway! " I muttered.

" What exactly did he do? " He asked, his voice icy cold.

" He told everyone about mom! Most of the school knows now! " I shouted.

Dads face paled at the mention of our mother. He had never really gotten over the divorce, and I'm pretty sure he still loves her even though the reason that they got divorced was heartbreaking.

" Umm, I'll let you off this time... Get to class, don't want you to miss anything... " He said.

" OK... " I said. I left the classroom, Derek following behind me.

" Next time Derek, keep stuff like that to yourself OK? " I snapped.

" There's nothing wrong with being a half blood! " He said.

" To you! It means a lot to me!! " I said.

" Fine! You could have told me that!! " He said.

" And how would I do that, especially in front of dad?!! "

" Fine! Let's just get to class, anyway. "

I rolled my eyes. He can be so annoying sometimes. And now I have Charms, greatt..
