"Bleeeeehhhh" Jeremy is hunched over the toilet.
("Fourth morning in a row. New record")
"Shut up. Bleeeeeeehhhh- Michael!" Michael comes stumbling in tiredly. It's quite early.
"Jer, I'm worried."
"I am too. I'm taking my medicine every day. I don't understand what's wrong..."
"Maybe it's... Not that?"
("He's onto something...")
"I-I don't think so... It can't be that, we've been using protection.."
("Have you?") Jeremy's head snaps up to look at him.
"D-Did you not use protection???"
"What? Course I did! I'm not an idiot!"
("Yes he is. You both are.")
"Stop lying to me, Michael. "
"Lying?? I- Jeremy -"
("He isn't lying, he doesn't REMEMBER. The smell of an omega in heat is intoxicating to most Alphas, almost literally. They don't think straight.")
"Fuck... alright. Mind man is telling me you didn't. You just don't remember."
"... Oh fuck... Oh shit... Jer... You don't think..?"
"I Dont want to think about it right now.."
"Well what other possible explanation could - fuck, look at the time, I've got Physics..."
"I'll be here... before you leave can you get my phone. Gotta tell Julia I'm not coming in." Jeremy leans against the wall and sighs.
He comes back with his phone, kisses his forever and jogs off again.
("What are you going to do about the baby?")
"I Dont know... now that we're out of high school, I think Michael would want to keep it..."
("Of course he would. It's his. He would never want to get rid of his own. Hm... Especially because if I've calculated correctly... This baby will be a carbon copy of you physically. His eyes and hair, but you the rest of the way.")
"Then I'll just Keep it.. we're almost out of college and we already have our own apartment."
("He's still going to panic. You aren't married. His dad won't approve at all. How are you going to tell your father and Heidi?")
"They...... I don't know..."
("I would use one of those at home tests because there is always room for error in my calculations, and think very carefully about what you want to say to Michael about it too.")
"Yeah I know...." He throws up a few more times. The Squip pats his shoulder.
("It'll be all right.") When Michael comes home, Jeremy is curled up in a blanket on the couch. Watching a movie.
"Hey Jer. Feelin' better?" He sniffs.
"No.." oh no. A sad movie. Probably the titanic.
"Aw, baby..."
"C'mere," He reaches out to him. Michael drops his bookbag by the couch and moves to sit with Jeremy, wrapping his arms around him.
"This is the 3rd time I've seen this today...."
"Baby, why?" he chuckles a little.
"Watching a sad movie over and over is just gonna make you sad."
"But look at jack.. fucking gorgeous...."
"Sure, Jer."
"Anyway, I didn't need to watch it three times to get sad. I was already crying the 1st time."
"... Yeah? Cause of the movie or..?"
"The movie... I was watching it to try not to think about it.
"So... So what's the verdict then, do you know?"
"I didn't... not yet. I'll get one of those at home tests tomorrow."
"Okay." He's quiet a minute. "What are we gonna... If you are... Should we... Fuck, how do we tell your dad? My mom? My house is so traditionally Catholic, she'll probably get on me for us not being married..."
"We..... get married?"
"...You think? We just... Hurry up and get married? This really fucks up my proposal idea..."
"No, we don't have to.... I mean my parents had me before they were married... Even if I am pregnant, can we wait until after graduation? It's only a couple weeks away."
"All right, proposal plan is back on."
"I'll... do the test tomorrow..." He's not super stoked about it.
"... It'll be okay." Jeremy nods and snuggles into Michel. They stay there all day. Michael doesn't have classes the next day, but he has work until two.
"Do you want me to wait until you get home?"
"... No, I want you to have the answer before I get back." Jeremy nods. He doesn't want Michael to leave. Michael doesn't want to leave, but he's gotta make that monies. He kisses Jeremy's forehead.
"Now if you'll excuse me, I think it's time for my morning sickness."
"Be strong, babe."
"I'll try." Then Michael has to leave and Jeremy has to vomit. When Michael comes home, Jeremy's in their room. Waiting for Michael patiently. Michael steps in.
"Well..?" Jeremy hands him the test. Michael looks it over and yep. Positive.
"Fuck... Fuck, baby, I... Shit, do we- do we tell them before you start showing or- fuck, I'm so stupid, we aren't READY to-" He moves his shaky hands to Jeremy's hips and slides one over his stomach, splayed over it.
"Fuck..." Jeremy puts his hand over michaels. He might cry like he did the first time.
"Are we.... are we gonna keep it? I-I don't see why not.." Michael's eyes dart up to Jeremy's.
"Jer, of course, I'd never- I couldn't- It's our baby, I wouldn't ever... ever get rid of it in any way." Jeremy nods and sniffs.
"This was... it was an accident, but it isn't a mistake, okay? It's gonna be fine."
("He's taking this much better than expected, he must be trying to stay strong for you.") Jeremy wraps his arms around Michael, holding him tight.
"...It's gonna be okay. I promise."
