BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!
I hate alarm clocks, I thought as I rolled out of bed on my first day back from Christmas break. I looked outside to be greeted by a bright sunny day.
I walked up to my full length mirror beside my dresser and stared at my reflection. My hair looks like a rat's nest, I thought as I grabbed my brush off the dresser and started to brush out the tangles and mangles. My long blond hair is naturally straight so no need for a straightener. The blond in my hair matches my icy blue eyes.
I walked in to the blue-walled bathroom attached to my room to brush my teeth. The sinks to the left, bathtub on the far wall and toilet to the right.
After I was back in my room, I put on my mini black skirt that went down to just above my knees, with a white blouse and my black flats. After, I put on my makeup. Eyeliner, mascara, and a little eyeshadow. I grabbed my bag and ran downstairs.
"Bye Mom!" I yelled as I ran out the door to wait for the bus with my best friend, Kelsey.
"Bye honey, have a good day!"
"Thanks!" I called back as I walked out side and ran to the end of my street.
"Hey Kels," I said as I joined her at the bus stop. Kelsey was the same height as me, about 5 foot 4 inches, except she had hazel brown slightly curly hair. Her eyes are a dark brown. She was wearing a light blue jean skirt, dark brown ankle boots and a sleeveless with top with a black cardigan.
"Hey Serena. Really that skirt?" Kelsey raised her eyebrow at me.
"What?? I like it!" I said, playfully hit Kelsey on the shoulder.
Kelsey just rolled her eyes.
"So...Did you talk to Brian yesterday? Like you said you would??" I raised my eyebrows at her.
Kelsey blushed and said "Yes I did."
"EEEPPPPP!!!! What happened tell me everything!!" I screamed like little girl.
"Ok ok!! So I called him and asked if he wanted to hang out, and he said sure. So we met up at the café downtown. We talked for and hour then he walked me home. After he... kissed me on the cheek," she said the last part fast.
"AHHHHHHHHH!!!!!! He totally likes you!!!"
Kelsey blushed.
"Hey, wanna go swimming after school today? I'll text you about it later."
"Ya I'd love too! I know how much you love the water." She smirked at me.
We talked nonstop about swimming, and Kelsey's crush on Brian on the bus to Creekside High School.
