When I reached the throne room, I knocked.
"You may enter," I heard Neptune's voice speak. I entered into the familiar throne room. Neptune was in his throne, pitch fork missing. So it was the pitch fork Aqurissa had when me and Hunter ran into her in the hall, I thought walking towards the throne.
"Aqurissa does have my pitch fork. You were with Hunter last night?" Neptune looked at me with an eyebrow raised.
"Oh, ya he, ah, he came into my room last night to, ah, watch me. He said you sent him to."
Neptune raised an eyebrow. "He is right, I did want him to watch you."
"So, Aqurissa said you wanted to see me."
"Yes, I want to show you Atlantis. I hope we could have some father daughter time together." He smiled.
"Oh. You see, I would love to, but Hunter showed me around yesterday."
"I see. Well, I can show you the underwater area?" He looked like he wanted this more then ever, just to spend time with his daughter.
"Oh! That'd be lovely! But I haven't... What do you call it? Right, phased. I haven't phased yet. How can I breathe underwater?"
"I have a magical necklace you can wear that will help you breath underwater. Aquata!"
A girl about my age walked in from the other set of doors. She had long brown hair, brown eyes and a plush pink lips. She wore a persian blue strapless sea shell bra. A matching long skirt with a cut on the side was wrapped tight around her legs. She smiled at Neptune and bowed in front of the throne. "Yes, sir?" Her voice was almost angelic.
"Do you have the pearl shell necklace that I asked you to keep safe?" Neptune looked down at her with love a mother or father might have when looking at their children.
"Yes I do. It's in my purse." She patted a green purse that looked as if it was made of seaweed. I didn't notice before. "I never take it off. Why?"
"Because my daughter needs it."
"Your... daughter? Sir, I'm confused." She had a confused look on her face.
"Yes." He extended a hand behind her towards me.
Aquata turned and gasped. "Oh, your Serena?" She said my name with complete disgust. Neptune didn't seem to notice.
"Yes. It's nice to meet you." I extended a hand to shake but she turned her attention back to Neptune.
"I'm sorry, sir, but if she's you daughter why does she need the necklace?"
"She is a late phaser. So, hand me the necklace." He extended his hand towards her, palm up.
"Yes, sir." She reached in to her bag and pulled put a necklace with pearls and shells on a gold chain. She placed it carefully in his hand.
"Thank you. Serena, come here."
"Yes?" I said as I walked closer to Neptune.
"Put this on. This is the necklace I was talking about." He placed it my hands. I was expecting to be cold but it wasn't.
"Oh, it's beautiful." I swear I thought I saw Aquata roll her eyes.
I was having trouble with the clasp, so Aquata came over and helped me. When she did, she whispered harshly in my ear, "Stay away from Hunter, he's mine."
I didn't know what to think so I ignored her. "Thank you." I said it with complete hate.
She smiled sarcastically back. "No problem, will do anything to help Neptune's daughter."
I turned my attention back to Neptune. "I'm ready!" I smiled up at him.
He clapped his hands together. "Excellent! Let's get going! Thank you Aquata you may be excused for today."
Aquata bowed and left.
"Which way?" I asked, nervous about whether we would follow Aquata or not.
"That way," he said, pointing to the pair of doors beside the big glass aquarium. The opposite way Aquata went.
