Chapter 13

Hunter's POV

"Hunter, can I speak with you alone?" Neptune asked.

"Of course. I will see you around, Serena." Neptune and I went into my room leaving Serena alone in the hall.

"What's wrong?" I asked after the door was closed.

"I have a feeling you and Serena are more then just friends." Neptune said, crossing his arms.

"I don't know what you mean," I said, not making eye contact with Neptune.

"Do not play dumb with me. Aqurissa told me what happened in the hall yesterday. You carrying Serena, coming out of her room, kissing her on the cheek. You know I told you that once Serena comes, I forbid you to love her." Neptune continued to stare me down.

I sighed. "Ok, yes Serena and I have, um, slept together. I lied but told the truth about her having a bad dream. Serena did come to my room last night and she did have a bad dream. But I slept with her, not on the couch."

Neptune looked even angrier then when he found out Aqurissa had fallen in love with a human and forbade her to ever see him again. "And how many times has this, this incident happen?" He said 'incident' like it was a contagious disease. He looked me straight in the eye.

"Last night was the second time." I looked down at his feet.

"SECOND TIME?!?!" Neptune was on a rage now. "I trusted you, Hunter. To not go around sleeping with my daughter. I forbid you to be in the same room with her, alone. From now on, you come to me if you want to speak with Serena. Do I make myself clear?"

I looked up, keeping my face clear if emotion. "Yes, sir."

"Good." With that Neptune turned and walked out the door, leaving me brokenhearted.

Serena's POV

After Hunter and Neptune left me alone, I wondered around for a bit. I got bored so I walked back to my room. When I reached there, Aqurissa was waiting for me. "Hello, Aqurissa." I said when I reached the door.

"Hello, Serena. Neptune wanted me to show you to your new room. He thought you probably didn't like this small, plain room." She smiled.

I smiled back. "Oh! Ya, that'd be great."

"Right this way." She turned back the way I had come. I followed close behind, wondering what my room will look like.

We went up to the level Hunter and I went up the previous night. The spiral stair case looked like sand, packed and hardened to create the steps. The rail was golden rods covered in shells.

We walked down the hall Hunter and me walked to go to his room. Aqurissa and I passed Hunter's room, and I stared at the door, wondering what Neptune talked to Hunter about.

After passing a persian blue door and a pink door, we had reached my room. The door was the same as Hunter's except an emerald green and it didn't have any hieroglyphics on the door. The handles were shells, like Hunters.

"Wow," was all I could say. Aquata opened up the door to a large room. It was arranged like Hunter's was. Bed on the far wall, dresser and couch my left, to my right was another door to the bathroom. There wasn't any decorations like Hunters, but two lamps on either side of the bed.

"Is that-" Aqurissa had begun, but I was running to the bathroom. I had suddenly gotten the dry mouth feeling.

When I reached the bathroom, it was the same as Hunters. I turned on the sink fully and cupped my hands under the sink, like a cup. I drank from my hands for a few seconds before Aqurissa came in. "Are you ok?" Aqurissa asked when she came in.

When she noticed I was drinking, she said "Ah, first symptom of the phase. Neptune will be happy. I will leave you be." She left after that.

I continued to drink for another ten minutes before my mouth didn't have that dry feeling anymore.

Before I left I filled up the bathtub with warm water and went into my room. I sat on the bed to find out, it too, was a waterbed.

I looked over to the white couch. There was a grey housecoat on the back of the couch. I walked over to the couch and stripped out of my clothes and undergarments. I put on the house coat and put my clothes on the couch.

I walked into the bathroom, to find the tub almost full. I turned off the water, took off my housecoat and stepped into the warm water. The tub was twice my size, so there was plenty of room. There was a pillow on one end so I rested my head against it. I closed my eyes not knowing how tired I was.

I fell asleep in the tub. And I dreamed.

I dreamt I was walking down the hall from my room to Hunter's room. I was going to tell him something but I don't know what. This dream was more vivid then the last.

I had reached his room and I reached for the handle. But then I heard a voice. "Oh, Hunter," said a familiar female voice from inside Hunter's room.

"What is it? What do you want?" I heard Hunter reply back.

"You," said the female voice.

I reached for the door knob, wondering wether or not I should open it. I hesitated before I reached to opened it. I had tears in my eyes already, knowing who was on the other side of the door.

I opened the door to find Aquata and Hunter kissing. Hunter's hands were around her. Aquata's white t-shirt was on the ground. She stood in front of Hunter in her long persian blue skirt and bra.

Hunters shirt was also on the ground. "Hunter," I whispered staring at them. They broke apart, and turned. Aquata wrapped her arms around herself, trying to cover up. She smirked evilly at me.

"Serena, it's not what-" Hunter didn't have to finish, cause I was already out the door running for my room.

"Serena! Wait!" I could hear Hunter calling after me to stop, but I just kept running.
