"Paige?" I repeat her name as If it were a question. Her face lights up as I say her name, she nods her head exultantly at me.

"Do you remember me?" I can see the hope in her eyes but I only remember reading her name, we must have been friends before I forgot everything from when I was younger.

"No I'm sorry I don't." Her expression softest once again. "But Your name does sounds foamier."

"Really." She looks so happy its freaking me out. The sound of clicking heals echo throw the halls, I look over Pagie's shoulder to see a very ticked off Katelyn walking my way. For some reason I have urge to walk over to her and throw my arm around her waist, holding her close to me. She walks walks over to me standing at my side and places her arm around my good one.

"Who's this?" She ask me with a fake smile on her face.

"Well sweet hear this is-"

"Paige, Paige Madison" She holds out her hand for Katelyn but Katelyn doesn't move her arm from around mine. Paige lowers her hand down to her side. "I remember Max's name but I'm sorry I don't remember your name, so who are you?"

"Katelyn is my name and to answer you question I'm Max's girlfriend, and I would like to tell you something." She takes a step forward pulling me with her. "I really don't give a damn if you don't remember my name, I don't know who the fuck you are so that means you arn't even worth my time to remember. You're new here so let me tell you this." She lets go of my arm to get into her face "Stay away from Max Paige." She spits out her names as if I left a bad taste in her mouth. "Or your life at this school will become a living hell."

Katelyn closes my locker and take me by the arm once again, leading us to out first class of the day. I have no clue what just happened but I do know one thing, Katelyn looks hot when she ticked off.

once we arrived in class and took out seats for some reason I couldn't take my eyes off of Katelyn, I just have the feeling if I look away from her she would be there when I look back, I feel as if someone is about to try and take her away from me.

"What was all of that back there?" I have to know why she said the things that she did. She looks at me and give me a small but beautiful smile.

"She's the daughter of a near by packs Alpha," she says, "I know that we have meat before but I can't remember her. My mom and dad have tried to get me to mate with Alpha sons and she has an older brother that my parents have invited for me to meat. Thank the moon goddess that I am now Alpha because I don't have to go to my parents new house for dinner."

"Wait did they tell you what they were trying to do?"

"No, I  know everything, they think that they can pull one over me but it's not going to work." She takes out her book and places it on her desk I want to talk to her more but out teacher walks in and start class.

I am in two right now, I love Katelyn but I love her so much that I can't wait for class to be over to I can spent time with her. I really don't care about my class as much as I use to and that worries me a bit. I know have a new favorite class, lunch. Katelyn and I just sit in the library and eat out lunch together. To say that she never talks to her other friends anymore would be a lie. She stays after school to work and hang out with them while I work on my after school studies that way we both are giving the time that we had before we started dating. But there is something that is bothering me.

"What's wrong?" I take my gaze away from my food at look at Katelyn.

"What are you talking about? I'm fine." I know that she's not buying it.

"Max" She uses her foot and rubs my leg up and down trying to get me to talk to her and it's working,

"Okay fine i'll tell you just stop." She smiles at herself knowing that she won. "I just don't understand what I'm supposed to do," Her face shows one of worry and cornering, "About this whole mate thing, I just don't understand what it is that I have to do."

"Max," She takes my hand into her's placing them on the table, "All you have to do it be there for me and well love me." I really don't think it's that easy, I mean she's a werewolf for goodness sake.

"It cant be that easy Katelyn, I'm a human you're a werewolf, how in the world is loving you going to be enough, I cant protect you, and cant keep you save like another werewolf can and will be able to I just-"

"Max!" She tints she grip on my hand, "I don't care if you're human, how many times have I told you that! it doesn't matter that you're not a werewolf does it look like I care. You Are my mate!" I take a really deep breath I need to tell her I just need to say this to her. If i don't know I won't tell her at all.

"Katelyn." She looks up from her food to look at me.

"Yea." I leave a long pause still trying to gain the courage to tell her this but I want to tell her and I have the need to tell her, as if my life depends on it.

"I.... I think I Love you."

I wanted to make the chapter longer but I wanted to end the chapter with that, I hope I ca get another chapter up here later tonight to make up for not posting for a month and all. I hope you are all enjoying the book since I really don't know if you are and all.
