                                                    Max

It' been 3 days since James's man attacked me, and thanks to a worried Katelyn I cant leave till i get the stitches taken out. By the way i cant see crap! My glasses are destroyed, everyone here at the hospital, where the staff are extremely friendly towards me to an extent that its creepy, keep telling me that i would look better with contacts. Yeah, not happening.

A soft knock came to my door, seconds later emerged Katelyn who I think is smiling. she walks in holding up what apiaries to be a white bag.

"What's with the bag?" she places the bag on my lap.

"Just open it." uniting the red bow, moving around tissue paper I find a gray  glasses case.

"You didn't." She users me to open it which i do. I have to say they are an apartment from my block glasses. It was just your basic pair of black glasses. "Why would you get these for me?"

"Well it kind of is my fault that your were broken beyond repair, plus you can't really see anything right now and i knew there was not point in trying to get you to wear contacts. So i didn't even bother tying to."

"How did you know what type to get?"

"I asked your mom, told her that i would pay for you to get a new pair as long as i got to pick them out for you." she answers taking a seat by my bed. "Well what are you waiting for, try them out?"  Slipping them on my face, i was pretty happy to be able to see once again.

I look at her, able to see clearly now. I saw that she had her hair to her left in a side pony tail, leaving a few strands to hung around her face. She placed something in my lap, looking down to find its a mirror.

"I don't know if you want to see what they look like you also have to see the rest of you since you havn't seen yourself since the other day." she's right. I have no clue how bad i look right now. God i could look like crap. "But don't worry, its not to bad." she tries to reassure me.

Slowly lifting the mirror branching myself for what ever i may or may not see. Looking into the mirror and breathing a sigh of relief. She's right, i don't look that bad. A few small cuts, and my stitches, other then that i look great. I do have to say i am liking these glasses much more then my block ones.

"No all i have to do is get you to wear contacts."  she looks at me from the corner of her eye, giving me an evil grin.

"Not happening!" i throw the bag at her only to have her throw it right back at me.

"Don't worry, i like you better with glasses. I would never change how you look, that's what i love most about you." wait hold on a sec, did she just say that she loves me? My eyes winded and i guess she caught on to what i was thinking and says, "In the friend way." breathing a sigh of relief, leaning my head back into the pillow.

"But what if." I turn my gaze on her as she speaks. "I told you i like you, would that freak you out?" Heck yes, i cant see you liking me for real. I know that she's just dining all of this because she feels bad for me. I learned at a young age to never get my hopes up, well at least to high so when everything fall apart its only a short way down. she leans towards me, moving closer so that she is now next to my head, whispering in my ear.
