Chapter 22

Max

After some time has past Katelyn finally comes out of the bathroom, she stands in front of me in only a towel, her long hair dripping wet as she holds her tooth brush in her hand. Why does she have to put me throw this again. I look up to her face trying my best not to look at her in just a towel the last thing I want is for her wolf to take over again and pin me down, I am sure she towel will fall off and than I'll be beyond gone.

"Sorry." She says laughing, "I forgot my clothing in here, I am not uses to having to take them into the bathroom with me." I watch as she pulls out a short light green night gown. Man this girl loves the color green.

"No it's fine. I understand." She turns to head back into her bathroom only I stop her, " Katelyn wait." She turns looking at me a huge smile on her face. "Do you think I could get into the bathroom while you finish getting dressed in here." She face doesn't chance but I can tell by her eyes that what I said is not what she wanted to hear.

"Sure!" She walks past me avoiding looking at me. What did I do wrong? Taking my shorts I head into the bathroom closing the door behind me but not bothering to lock it.

Katelyn

"What the hell does he think he is doing!!" my wolf screams. "Standing in my room without a shirt on. Does he want me to jump him again.!

"I am sure he didn't mean it but it is hard to not look at him. I love that he is not all buff like many of the male's out here now a days. He is your everyday person. Small and skinny, yet still taller than me but not over powering. Its nice." I tell her.

"Well it's still hard, I just want him like crazy I want him to mark us but we don't know how to do that." She wines.

"I know how you feel, we really need to talk to the elders about this. We can trust them, unlike my parents. I wish I knew exactly what they were up too but I know nothing. I need to send someone to watch them but I don't know how much good that will do." I need to get ready for bed before Max comes out here I know he is going to fight me about where we are sleeping but I need to protect him and his little sister.

Slipping on my green night gown I brush throw my hair, putting it in braided pig tales. I take my glee DVD set and pop the first disk on the first season into the DVD player. I know Max loves glee more than anyone I have ever meet so I got him the whole collection as a gift. I move to sit next to Sophie sleeping with her poop bear.

"Now that will get him to sleep in here won't it." She places her her thumb in her mouth and she couldn't look any cuter.

"I cant wait till I have a pup of my own." I tell my wolf. I know that she feels the same so she doesn't replay. I hear the bathroom door open as a half dressed Max walks out, his blond hair stuck to his face and not wearing his glasses. Water travels down his chest as his face starts to turn red.

"Is he trying to kill us?" I don't answer her because I know it will only get us both in to trouble that we can't afford right now.

"I.. I'm sorry I didn't pack a night shirt so.." I laugh at how embersed he is. My is my mate so freaken cute.

"Just as long as no one but me sees you like this I am fine with it." I tell him. He turns another shade of red and slowly he walks over towards me.

"I should just uses one of my school shirts to wear since I'll be sleeping on the couch." Oh no you are not. Using the remote for the DVD player I hit play on the first episode. He looks towards the TV and he's eyes grow wide.

"When did you get Glee on DVD!!" He's acting like I do when my brother got me Inuyashs on DVD.

"A while ago I ordered all the seasons for you on DVD since I knew you love it." He rushes towards me lifting me with one arm, sniping me before setting me back on the ground.

"God I love you."He places a quick kiss on my lips as I just stare at him in shock. "What? Can't I be happy?"

"No its not that its just... You picked me up.." He smiles at me tilting his head to the side.

"So its not a big deal." Does he really not realize what he just did.

"But you only have one arm and you have trouble carrying you book bag around school, and I weight a crap ton more than your book bag. So how on earth did you manage to pick me up one handed." It takes a minute for my words to process before he actually understood what I said.

"I have no idea.. But I am so glad that I did that!" He smiles brightly at me, his smile lights up any room. I would do anything in my power to see him smile like that all the time.

"Okay well its getting late. You better get to bed soon." I start to open my bedroom door when I see Max's hand on top of mine. Turning my head aside my nose brushes his as he places a kiss on my cheek.

"I really don't want you to sleep on the couch." He takes a step back as he wraps his arm around my waist. "If its not to wired for you maybe we can both sleep in your bed..?" He starts making funny nervous faces causing me to laugh.

"Are you sure you are okay with that?" I know I am. I have heard of all the stories about the best sleep you can ever get it when you sleep with mate.

"I am positive." I bit my lip hard trying to hold back my excitement.

"Plus I would really like you to watch glee with me since you only listen to their covers and haven't actually watched the show." Stupid human motives.

"You just want me to fall in love with glee as a TV show. And I though that you wanted me to stay with you because you love me and are worried about me." I fake a look of hurt hoping he won't see right throw me.

"I don't mean it like that. I said its a plus not my main reason Katelyn." He takes my hand pulling me towards my bed.

"Fine but I am only watching one episode and than we are going to bed." Once we are settled he replays the first episode and let me tell you this about glee. You can't just watch one episode.
