Chapter 21

Hello there, I am sorry about the long wait but I haven't been able to find the right words on what I want to happen next but since I started college its like my writers block is no more and I just though of what to write next. I hope the long wait is wroth is.

Having to explain why we left a 3 month old at the day care almost over night was pretty hard. The lady look as if she wanted to kill us both with her evil glares and questions, she acted as if she were a cop. I slowly pull into the pack house drive way, putting the car in park I look over to Max who is still trying to get his little sister to stop crying.

"At least she's not screaming like she was before we picked her up." My wolf tells me, "It's just a nice soft cry."

"That is true but I still hate to hear her cry." 

"I should have drove us back and you should have held her." Max wines as he slowly opens the car door and steps out. "

"Your little sister wanted her big brother not me, If anything she may have cried harder if I were the only holding her and not you." A smiles crosses his face as he look at Sophia. "It's not like you can drive and hold a baby at the same time. That's not safe for anyone."

"Even a wolf like yourself." A smirk forms on his face as if he won the grand prize. I open the front door to the pack house only to find many of the members that live here still up. As I walk into the house all eyes look from me to Max.

"Where the hell have you been!" James yells as he get up out of his seat. Sophia starts screaming as his loud voice scared her. "Why the hell is Max and a stupid baby doing here?" I never told anyone in my pack about Max staying here for a little while nor have I told anyone that he is my mate.

"Look Max and his little sister need a place to stay while his parents are away and I told him they can stay here. Not this isn't going to be a problem for anyone right?" Everyone looks at me and shacks their head no. "Now I suggest you all get to bed you have quite a long day ahead of you tomorrow." Taking Max by the hand I pull him to my room shutting and locking the door behind us as quietly as I possible can.

"What do you mean by they have a long day ahead of them?" As he turns to look at me.

"Tomorrow is Saturday and with all that has been going on I have been putting off training so I need them to catch up from lost time and I am going to make sure they work there butts off." I would have said another word but I know Max doesn't like it and his baby sister is in the room. I pull off my hoodie and throw it on my bed as I hear Max mumbling.

"Um.. Katelyn.." I turn to look at him and find that his gaze is fixed on the wall to the side, his whole face a blood red.   I look down at myself and see that I am only wearing my black and purple laced Bra and my skinny jeans.

"Sorry I must have pulled off my shirt when I took my hoodie off." He slowly turns his back to my causing my wolf to let out a whimper.

"Are we not good enough for him?" She wines

"No its just that he is human and he is being polite. Humans do that when its not there place or right to see something that is private to someone else." I explain to her, I guess she's not used to not having at mate that would just at the chance to see us half necked.  She doesn't care about my answer as I feel her take complete control of me taking me off guard.
