Daniels pov
I spent around another week in that hospital. I can finally go home today. The boys have visited me 24/7. Jack never leaves. Only to change, eat, and shower. I love him so much. When I get out of the hospital later we are going to go home and relax.
~Later before Daniel leaves~
Jacks pov
We brought Daniel home but he still needs help with loads of things. I will never leave. We slowly walk out the front doors of the hospital and Daniel starts limping so I grab his arm and throw it over my shoulder. Corbyn sees me and does the same. We get home and I lift Danny down onto the couch. We start playing Aladdin and 20 minutes in, I hear soft snores from his direction. I look over and see him. My heart melts when I look at him. His perfect jawline and his soft hair. His beautiful eyes flustered open and a second later the pair of small oceans in his eyes look at me. A smile forms on his face and I start to blush. The boys were already upstairs sleeping and it was just me and him.
Daniel~ "Jack. Your blushing. Why?" His smile forms into a questioned look.
Me~ "It's hot in here. I'm not blushing."
I get up to get a drink of water and I see him struggle to follow. He starts to fall and without thinking I catch him. He looks up at me and tears form in his eyes. I lower him to the couch. He nestles his head in my neck. Still sniffing he starts to fall asleep. I look down at a sleeping Daniel snuggling as close to me as possible. My heart melts again. How could anyone or anything be so cute. I fall asleep right with him.
Corbyns pov
I wake up the next morning and go check on Daniel. I go to his room and him nor jack is there. Jonah walks down the hall and looks confused. He shrugs and goes downstairs. Minutes later I hear a faint "Corbyn" from downstairs. I walk down the stairs and Jonah calls me again. I look to where his voice came from and on the couch are some sleeping love birds. I take a pic and wake jack up. Daniel needs his rest. Jacks eyes shoot open and he immediately knows where he is and who he's with. He looks at me. Then Jonah. Than Daniel who's still attached to him. He's blushing so hard. I put my hand on his shoulder and lead him upstairs. Jonah starts on breakfast for us and I start talking.
Me~ "Do you wanna talk about it." He nods. He's about to break down.
Jacks pov
Waking up and looking at Daniel I remember it all. I almost lost him. I'm with Corbyn and I break down. I gather myself up and wipe my tears.
Me~ "Corbyn. I almost lost him. I don't know what I would do if he--"
I couldn't finish talking. My voice broke and he wrapped his arms around me and I put my head in his neck and just started balling.
Corbyns pov
I knew he was going to break down once Daniel started feeling better. I know their feelings. They love each other. Jack wouldn't have made it without Daniel. We sat there for a good 10 minutes before Jack got up and called Jonah and Zach in the room. (Daniel still sleeping downstairs.). The boys walk in and Jack starts.
Jack~ "Things have changed since I almost lost Daniel. You all know I'm bi and I love him. I felt dead when that nurse told me he might die. I couldn't live without him."
Jonah~ "We all couldn't."
And with that Zach got up and hugged Jack. Jonah and I joined moments later. The stove went off and we headed downstairs for breakfast. After all. Jonahs cooking was amazing. Jack went and snuggled back up with Daniel and Danny woke up.
Jacks pov
I feel better after telling the boys my feelings. I feel closer to them. We headed down for breakfast and I immediately snuggled back with Daniel. His eyes flutter open and reveal the ocean my heart starts to drown in. God he's so perfect. He smiles and just looks up at me.
Me~ "What are you looking at?" I look at him confused.
Daniels pov
Jack~ "what are you looking at?" He's confused on my moments before action. I just shake my head and attempt to get up. Failing he catches me moments from myself hitting the ground. I mutter a thanks and I walk/ limp to the kitchen to be given eggs by Jonah. I feel a little off but nothing physical. I eat in silence realizing I haven't spoken to anyone today. Corbyn walks in and sits with me on his phone. He looks at me.
Corbyn~ "Daniel are you alright. You seem off." He looks worried.
Me~ "I'm fine. Thanks Corbs."
He gets up as I hear footsteps coming down the hall. Jack. He comes and gets his own eggs and eats with me. We spent the rest of the day with an awkward vibe. I don't know why but I do know one thing. I'm extremely exhausted. I head to bed around 8 PM and look at Jack. He's on his phone. I can see the screen reflection in his beautiful brown eyes. He's shirtless of course because it's the evening. I wish he could be mine. I mutter a goodnight and receive one as well. Then slowly closing my eyes, I drift off into a deep slumber hoping for a better tomorrow.
