Jacks pov
Danny just left to get groceries and stuff like two minutes ago. I already miss him but it'll only be like 15 minutes or so. I can't be too clingy or he won't love me anymore. God I'd hate for that to happen. I lay on my bed with my phone and scroll through Instagram. I like to go through the #Janiel posts. I makes me smile.
I was only on like the 5th post when I get a text from Jonah.
Jonah~ "Can you come and meet me where we can see the sky?" Confused I start to think. He must be playing games. I try and think like Jonah would. Where can we see the sky? The cliff! That's what me and the boys call this place we like to go when the sun sets and rises. I grab a hoodie from Danny's closet and run downstairs. I grab my car keys and rush out the door. I start my car and head to the cliff. It's kinda far away from out home but I still go, determined to find out what's going on.
I get to our cliff and see Jonah standing where we all stand and watch the sky. I walk over to him and he smirks at my presence. He hands me a card with neatly printed words written on the front. Still very much confused I read the card. It reads "When we want to eat we go in. And when we want to leave we go out." I look up to look at Jonah but he wasn't where he was standing. Now I'm even more confused than before. I look around and find a small glimpse of Jonahs car leaving my view. I reread the card and think. It's a riddle. I have to think pretty hard, rereading the card a lot. I finally figure it out. In and Out. The restaurant/fast food place we always go to. I run back to my car and head to the building.
I arrive and park my car before rushing inside. My eyes scan the room for anyone I know. My eyes spotted Christina near the condiments table. I walk over to her as she smiles. She hands me a piece of paper like the one Jonah gave me. I gave her a glance telling her "tell me what this is about". She giggles and walks out of the fast food restaurant. I roll my eyes and read the paper that said "Find your next clue with the choch himself and his gal". My mind didn't have to think for this one. I run out of In and Out and head to Logans apartment complex.
I arrive and park my car in the parking garage. I run to his apartment and knock frantically on the door. I hear a soft set of footprints before the door opens. Without saying anything, like Christina and Jonah, Amber nods her head telling me to come in. I walk in the room and Logan enters from his room and hands me a piece of paper. The handwriting was different than the other two which confused me until I realized that it was Logans handwriting. Pushing the thought in the back for my mind, I take the paper from Logan and smile. He smiles back and him and Amber go and sit on the couch. Amber sits down next to him and he puts his arm around her as she lays in his chest. Their actions makes me miss Danny. Also I wonder what's going on with Logan.
Me~ "Care to explain Logan?" He shakes his head and puts his finger to his lips. I roll my eyes at him while he laughs. I read the paper that told me the next clue. "Find one of the only places in LA where you can see the stars during daytime". That's a big one. I sit down on Logans couch but only for a couple minutes trying to figure the clue out. Stars in LA. Where can I find them? I got it. I thank Logan, not waiting for an answer as he hasn't spoken which is odd for the vlogger, and rush out of the door. I run to my car and drive away, heading to Hollywood boulevard. Making sure not to speed, I drive to the Stars. I park on the street and, again, look for one of my friends or someone I knew. My eyes search of a minute before they find Corbyn. He smiles at me and I rush over to him. Panting I try and get him to talk.
Me~ "What is happening?" I shrugs while smirking and hands me the paper before rushing away to the car that parked just now. Christina looks at me through the window and smiles as Corbyn gets in. They drive away leaving me with my next "clue". The paper read "Where we can watch the water and ride". I think but know where to go. I go there with Danny sometimes. Speaking of the blue eyed boy, where is he. I shake the thought and eat in my car, starting on my way to Santa Monica Pier.
I arrive and walk over to where me and Daniel always stand to see Zach. I give him a confused look but he only handed me the next piece of paper. He turns on his heel and walks away to who knows where, but my eyes don't follow him. They look at the paper. It says "Home is where the Heart is". I roll my eyes and walk back to my car and head home. I don't get "where the heart is" but I guess I'll figure it out. Before I leave I make sure to admire the view. I love it here. I love being here. Soon I have to leave.
I arrive home and park my car in our driveway. Before walking in I stop. Everyone's cars are back and parked where mine is. They weren't there when I left after getting Jonahs text. Confused, yet AGAIN, I head inside. No one is in the house but I find a piece of paper on the counter as I set my keys on our key hooks. It reads "Look outside". Not wanting to look outside I look down trying to comprehend everything that just happened. Just before I was about to walk outside I hear the strum of a guitar. I rush outside to the sound and stop. My heart melts and tears form in my eyes. All my friends stand outside. All in tux, but Christina and Amber who both are in dresses. My love stands in the middle with his guitar strumming, I assume he's staring a song. I walk over and stand in front of everyone. Danny opens his mouth and start singing one of my favorite songs.
Daniel~ "I was a quick wet boy
Diving too deep for coins
All of your straight blind eyes
Wide on my plastic toys
Then when the cops closed the fair
I cut my long baby hair
Stole me a dog eared map
And called for you everywhere (everyone joins in)

He, and everyone, finishes and tears stream out of my eyes. I put my hand over my mouth still crying. Daniel puts his guitar down and rushes over to me. He wraps his arms around me and let me cry. I soon stop realizing how stupid I look and pull away from him.
Me~ "What is all of this?" I ask him confused. He takes a deep breath.
Danny~ "Jack Robert Avery. Since they say I met you I knew you were different. But a good different. You are probably the most gorgeous, caring, talented, and amazing boy I've ever met. I love you. I truly do. Jack, will you do me the honor of being my boyfriend?" He finishes and looks at me with hope and a lot of nervousness. I take all his words in and run then through my brain.
Me~ "I love you too, but—"
