The Story of Us

Chapter 11 Fifteen

"What about the time they climbed up the tree before the treehouse was there and we had to both climb up and get them?" Henry asked, "Oh and the time that they spent so much time on the beach they were trekking sand around the houses for 4 days," Ava said. They all laughed, the parents were reminiscing about Killian and Regina's past years of growing up together.

They were 15 now, and it was time for their first official date. The young couple had left 2 hours before. Cora got Regina all dressed in a cute pink dress, and her hair in a pony tail, "You look beautiful," She said, "What your mother said," Henry sighed. "Daddy at least you've known him since we were 8," Regina said. "True," Henry said.

Killian came to the door, in cute jeans, and his father actually gave him a vest and leather jacket, "Wow," Regina said staring at him, "I know," Killian smirked, "Here," Killian handed her a rose, "Aww," Cora said quietly, "Ok, pictures," Cora said, "Mom you have like a thousand pictures of us," Regina said, and Cora flashed the camera at them. "Well, normally a father would throw a guy out in all black and leather," Henry said, "But.... I have known you since before you lost your baby teeth," Henry said. "Thanks, so she's trusted to me?" Killian asked, "I suppose," Henry said. "I can take care of myself," Regina said, "Goodnight," Regina said as Killian smiled at Henry taking Regina out.

The parents had been drinking wine together while their teens were out. "Look how cute they were," Cora said looking at the pictures covering Ava's fridge. Killian and Regina at 8 years old sticking their tongues out, all the first days of schools they dropped them off together. Eight years of memories of their kids. "They're like little Romeo and Juliet except we like each other," Ava said.

On the date, Killian had money of course, some his and his father gave him some extra to "Show the lady a grand time" as he put it. Killian took Regina out to a little restaurant, even the staff thought the young couple was quite charming, Killian pulling her chair out and his little grin across the table.

They left hand in hand and went to get ice cream, cutely sharing licks on each others, "Mm kiss," Killian suggested, and they had a cold creamy kiss between them, Regina laughed. They talked about how they would now be going to high school, and meeting new people. "The girls are going to love you," Regina said, "Yeah well, my heart already belongs to someone," He said. "You know how to charm a girl," Regina smiled. "Well I only need to charm you," he said.

As they walked, Killian now would put his hand in Regina's back jean pocket, as she put her arm around his waist. They were able to walk home, since the area of town was close by. Killian walked Regina to her door, Henry and Cora were of course staring out the window trying to hide.

Ava and Brennan next door, were of course still trying to see what was going on, they were looking out the side door, as Killian and Regina walked to the porch at her house. "Move over," Brennan said. 

"Next time I pick the place," Regina said, "Next time?" He asked with a little smirk, "Yeah," she said, "I haven't asked you yet," he said, "It's my turn," Regina said, "Fair enough," he said, "Go out with me again?" She asked, "Always," he said with a smile. He had wrapped his jacket around her already, and she shrugged it off her shoulders and kissed him.

"Awww," Ava said, "Ok ok, come on, let's not stare," Brennan said, "Good man," He said softly as they stopped spying. "Goodnight Killian," Regina said with a sweet smile. "Goodnight," he said, walking back next door to his house.

Regina stepped inside and shut the door and leaned against it. Cora was smiling brightly at her, Henry sitting, pretending to look stern with his crossed. "Well, how was it?!" Cora asked, "Mom!" Regina said. 

First Day of High School

Killian and Regina went to their new school on their own, jeans, t-shirts, and converse shoes, each of them. Regina with her leather shoelace and silver bracelet from Killian. They had two classes together, but the rest were separate.

They were obviously getting more and more crazy about each other, kissing each other a lot more, and they always had their hands connected when they went anywhere. Regina went to her locker, and someone came up to her, opening his next to her, "Hi, I'm Graham," he said. "Hi, Regina," She said.

At Killian's locker around the corner, "Hi, I'm Milah," a girl said, "Hi, Killian," he said as the girl shut her locker next to him, she gave him kind of an interesting smile, Killian was rather oblivious though and headed around the corner. She stopped him, "Do you have 3rd period French? I do," she said, "Uhh I think so yeah," Killian said.

Regina was by her locker, and Graham happened to be asking her the same thing, Milah kind of followed Killian, as he walked up next to Regina, and put his arm around, "Hey," Regina smiled at him, "This is Graham," Regina said, "Hi," Killian said. Milah watched as Killian put his arm around Regina, and she headed off. Killian and Regina started to walk off, "Ten minutes and already someone wants to steal my girl," Killian said, "He's just saying Hi, if I didn't know any better I'd say you were jealous," Regina said, "I am not," he protested, "Yeah you are," Regina smiled, "Fine, but," Killian rolled his eyes, "Hello again Killian," Milah smirked walking by, Regina stared at her, "Who's that?" She snapped, "Oh, now who's jealous?" he asked, they both laughed, and he put his arm around her and kissed her head. 

Regina sat down in English class, one of the few classes she didn't have with Killian. "Hi I'm Lily," a dark haired girl said next to Regina, "I'm Regina," she said.

The class went by, it was fairly boring, their teacher seemed a bit more like they were talking to themselves the whole time. Regina and Lily ended up passing notes back and forth. They had to contain some of their laughter, but the teacher was mostly involved with their own boring lesson.

"What do you have next?" Lily asked outside class, "hey you," Killian came up behind Regina. "Oh Lily, this is Killian, my boyfriend," Regina said. "Hi," Lily and Killian greeted each other. "I have french, maybe they'll talk a lot French kissing," Killian winked, Regina laughed, "Killian!" She said high pitched to him. He smirked at her, and they headed down the hallway hand in hand, "hello Killian," Milah said to him, and Killian saw Regina's face pinch up a bit, "you know I kinda like you jealous," Killian said. 

"Ok then I'll just head back to my locker," Regina sassed, and Killian grabbed her back pants pocket, tugging her back, "very funny," he said kissing her quickly before the teacher gave him a strict look. He winked at Regina and headed inside. She headed to her class and she actually saw Lily again. She and Lily had a friendly conversation, having to work on pairs for the class lesson.
