Chapter 22 Sleep

"103," Regina said as she took the thermometer off Molly's head. "Poor baby," Killian said picking her up. "Molly sick?" Brennan asked, "yes she is mate," Killian said. "He's gonna get it," Regina said. "Probably, then you'll get it, then me," Killian said.

Molly was 3 and of course she brought home a virus from nursery. Brennan, was 5.5 and his immunity to little viruses was pretty tough, so he hadn't gotten any symptoms this time around. Regina, got unlucky this time, and got what Molly did. "Ok, off to bed you two," Killian said. "What? I'm her mother, I have to take care of her," Regina said. "You're burning up too," Killian said feeling Regina's head. 

"You can care for her by watching Disney in our bed and I'll take care of you both," Killian said. "I can take care of myself," Regina said sniffling, "hm, and deprive me of my dashing rescue? How unfair," Killian said raising his eyebrows. "You can't take care of both of us and Brennan," Regina said. "I think I can handle it, and Brennan can go play with little Neal next door, this is the beauty of having our best friends next door," Killian said. "Now, up to bed, you two," Killian said and he actually patted Regina's behind like he would the kids'. "Very funny," Regina said taking Molly upstairs to bed with her. "Go on or I'll really spank you," he warned, playfully.

Mary Margaret of course got soup going and Neal was happy to entertain his buddy. Killian headed back home to Regina and Molly who were up in bed all snuggled, watching Cinderella. "Aww my little princesses," Killian said coming in. "Mary Margaret is making soup, big surprise," he said. He gave Molly her sippy cup of water and Regina some water too. "Now, how about some tea?" Killian asked. "Tea party," Molly said sweetly, "no baby not now, you have to rest," Killian said and Regina held her close to her.

Killian was pretty good at the sick thing, Brennan and Molly were both the same, they just liked to be snuggled when they didn't feel well. Regina was rather stubborn, but Killian was the worst, so Regina was hoping he wouldn't get it. "Ok tea for mummy, and pedialyte for this one," he said giving cups to them. "Mama," Molly whined when she sat up, Regina just kept her hand on her head and Killian went to get some cloths for their heads. "Look my little princess, Ariel," Killian said putting the purple cloth with Ariel on Molly's head. 

He did the same to Regina, "you're so good at this," she just relaxed as he gently cooled their faces and chests with the cloth. "Mmm well at least I get to touch you," he said. "Yeah well I can still have sex, achoo!" Regina sneezed, Killian chuckled, "yes because I've always hoped you to sneeze as you reach climax," he joked. "Ok ok maybe no sex, but this little massage you got going feels great," Regina said as Killian rubbed her neck gently. Molly passed out next to Regina and eventually she did too.

Killian went next door to check on Brennan, "good timing," Dawn said, "oh no, he's warm," Killian sighed feeling his son's head. "Come on mate," Killian carried him home. He put Brennan into the bed next to Regina and Molly, and the three slept two hours.

Molly woke up first and made her way downstairs, "well Hi," Killian said sweetly to his little girl, in her princess nightgown and slippers, she wiped her eyes and Killian picked her up, and felt her head. "Oh you feel much better," Killian said. "You hungry?" He asked, Molly nodded, he could tell she was still a bit sick given she didn't get too excited to eat. But at least she had a little appetite and felt cooler.

He carried Molly upstairs cuddled to him and Regina and Brennan were waking up. "Hey," Regina said and Killian felt her and Brennan's head. "Little better," Killian said. "I see," Molly said and Killian put her down a minute and she toddled off and got her toy Doctor kit. Killian smiled seeing her bring it in and he put her up on the bed. Regina checked Molly's head and she was relieved she was cooler. Molly started to check Brennan and Regina. "Well?" Killian asked, "sick," Molly said, "oh dear do they need medicine?" Killian asked, "No, need daddy, and soup," Molly said. "She's pretty good," Regina smiled. "Ok I'll go get some soup, you have to eat some too," Killian said.

The three ate soup, and all were feeling better, and their fevers dropped. Killian settled in next to them in the evening as Molly and Brennan passed out. "I'm guessing we're not carrying them to bed," Regina said, leaning on Killian's shoulder, "Mmm no," Killian said.

Early the next morning, Regina felt almost a hundred percent, her family was passed out still and she got up to take a shower. When she came back, a sneeze echoed in the room, and it was not the kids, "uh oh, Daddy got it," Regina sat next to him, "I'm fine," he groaned and Regina felt his head. "Burning up," she said.

"Well that's because I'm hot," he smirked, "even when you're sick you still flirt," Regina laughed, "oh calm on I am fine, I could screw you right now if these kids weren't in here," he said. Regina heard the congestion already in his chest. "Daddy sick?" Molly woke up and climbed onto Killian. "Yup you want to take care of Daddy?" Regina asked, Molly nodded and felt his head cutely, "oh this is not fair you know I can't resist that little face, and her tiny hand on my head," Killian said. Regina smiled and quickly got a cold cloth and handed it to Molly, Molly copied what her parents did and put it on Killian's head.

"Well I can't really say no to this," Killian said as his little girl started to play nurse. Regina smiled and went to make tea. When she returned, Brennan was up also caring for his father. The kids and Regina felt better but Regina couldn't really think of a better way to spend a weekend than snuggled up with them all.

The kids were content sitting in bed while Killian rested, they did puzzles and played games. Brennan and Molly both didn't want to leave Killian. "Well this is one way to get Molly to nap," Regina said as Molly curled up on Killian for a nap as he was passed out. Brennan looked at Regina, "shhh! Now we can watch Spider-Man," he said whispering, Regina smiled at him and nodded.
