It was at lunch and I had been trying to avoid Sage, it was easy, he had obviously been trying to do the same because I never saw him, he made no effort to come over to me. Tori was mad, at both of us, she was crazy at Sage for not even trying, to which I pointed out, he had tried but she just ignored me, folding her arms and giving me 'the look'. It meant, don't even think about it.
"honestly, when Sage came back, you two were the sweetest couple-"
"we weren't a couple-"
"I thought it was going to be the perfect love story!" She carried on ignoring me. "but no, you two had to ruin it didnt you?" she huffs.
We were sitting on a lunch bench, I was trying to avoid looking at Sage but it was failing, every five minutes my eyes would start wandering around...probably looking for him. I always found him aswell. Surrounded by his old friends, he looked happy at least, he was joking about with one of his friends when he looked over to me catching my act. I was looked away so quickly I had a sudden dizziness.
"Tori...no offence babe, but you are driving me absoloutly mad with your talking, or should I say Babbling," Aiden puts in taking his head out of his hands, he was sitting opposite us on the lunch bench looking very tired.
I gave Aiden a warning gaze, he just looked back questionably. Oh Dear.
Here we go. "Don't 'babe' me Aiden! This girl here is sitting no less than a couple of metres away from her soul mate! You realy do not understand any of this stuff do you? Aiden! this is simple knowledge! He is every girls dream! I mean, you should know this anyway! Your Gay!" She exclaims.
"Tori!" I slap her arm. "don't say things like that, thats stereo-typicalling,"
"sooo?" She asks dragging out the 'o's.
I rolled my eyes at her and throw a apoligising look towards Aiden, he shakes his head at her sighing loudly.
"And anyway, whose to say he's her 'soul-mate'. He could be mine, or yours, for all you know," Aiden argues back.
"Well, for one, he's not gay so he can't be yours, and two, have you seen him Aiden really? I've been watching him-"
"Stalker." Aiden interupts.
"And he-" She throws a look towards him, "har, har, funny one Aiden," She rolls her eyes at him then starts again, "Anywaaaay, He keeps looking over at Callie like every two minutes,"
I almost cough out my drink I've just swallowed. "what?" I croak.
"you can't talk, I've seen you looking back at him,"
"Yeah..." I struggle for an excuse, ".....to count how much girls have batted there eyes at him,"
Lame, Callie, So lame...
"you suck at lying," Tori counters.
"no shit? I think we've all established that now," Aiden grins at me, i throw a hair clip at him, he ducks chuckling.
"And anyway, he's not looking over, he's talking to his mates,"
"Yeeeah, but he knows your looking over, he's putting on an act," Tori looks over at him now. "He's looking over now for example,"
I don't fall for it, rolling my eyes, "your so stupid," But my heart-beat has suddenly propelled loudly, and my palms are starting to sweat.
Shoot.
"your blushing Callie," Aiden points out.
"Because Im here!" Hunters voice echoed behind me. I turn my head in his direction and sheild my eyes from the sun, Coles on his side, squinting his eyes at us.
