“Please don’t still be mad at me,” he whispers. He shocks me by suddenly hugging me tightly. I jump and don’t know what to do for a few seconds before I start to weave my arms around him, he tightens his hold if it could get any tighter. An over whelming feeling comes over me, I didn’t realise how much I had missed him, my arms clamp onto him even harder and I start to cry, I can’t help it, it was all too much.
“don’t cry,” he murmurs into my hair, burying his nose into it. I sniff against his neck.
“I can’t help it,” I whisper, “I....i can’t believe how much I’ve missed you,” this feeling felt 10 times stronger than the feeling after her left, 100 times more even, nothing could compare to this.
“I can’t believe how much I’ve missed you..” he replies quietly. We hold each other tighter, as tight as possible and I feel the tears run down my cheeks silently onto his t-shirt.
“I'm so sorry,” he whispers, I feel something wet on my neck and I sit back to look him in the eye.
I gasp, his eyelashes were soaked, he had a tear run down his cheek and his lips were parted slightly, breathing deeply. he looked me right in the eyes and I couldn’t help but feel helpless under his gaze, how could he capture me like this?
“your crying..” I wipe away his tears with my little finger while still keeping his gaze. He catches my hand and kisses the centre of my palm.
“for you, I wouldn’t have ever believed I would feel like this,” he mutters looking at my hand as he kissed It twice. This felt so cheesy...but in other ways it didn’t, like we were finally happy again...
“Callie-“ The nurse came in and I looked up from Sage.
“yeah?”
“you can go if you want, I think you’ve had enough sleep,” she gives me a small smile then walks out again shaking her head to herself.
Sage grins suddenly and pulls me up gently.
“Sage, I'm not made of glass,”
“yeah, but you did just faint, and your weak, I can tell,” he said rolling his eyes at me.
“alright, alright,” I said in an exhausted voice.
“see,” he said stubbornly holding out his hand for me to hold.
I stood up and took his hand giving in, I was a little tired now come to think of it.
He smiles smugly and winks at me leading us out the doorway. We walk down the corridor to the car. There weren’t many there in the parking lot now.
He even opened the door for me and closed it after. I couldn’t help but be impressed, this wasn’t Sage’s normal thing.
“So, whose you want to go to then?” he asked turning on the air con.
“Mine,” I told him running a hand threw my hair trying to get the knots out from my ealier sleep.
“its looks fine! Your such a girl,” he mutters to me shaking his head but grinning.
I shrug and put on the spare set of shades that he had in his car.
“just ask, you know,” he comments pulling out of the car park.
“I was about to-“
“liar,” he mumbles concentrating on the road. I went to roll my eyes but regretted it, it made me feel dizzy.
“I'm hating Cole right at this moment by the way, but I'm also kind of glad of what he had done,” Sage says as we drive along the road.
“why?” I asked curious ticking my head to the side.
