Not So Perfect

Chapter 9

Me and Tori went to the car, my sunglasses were on so it was impossible to tell if I had been crying…which I had. It was the end of school and I had avoided Sage as much as possible, it wasn’t hard, a lot of girls surrounded him and he couldn’t walk a lot because of them.

Now looking over, I saw 3 girls surrounding him by his car. He was looking at them flirting, not even caring about me probably. So when Tori took me past him, he looked up and his face went crazy.

“don’t even dare!” Tori warned and hurried me past. I looked down at the ground and walked quickly almost jogging to keep up with Tori. I felt like one of those famous people who were being carried by guards through an airport, I didn’t know why I remembered that, probably because everyone was staring at me yet I still walked on not meeting anyone’s eyes.

“just ignore them,” Tori whispered opening my door for me to climb in. I slid in as she jogged over to her side, her fashionably scarf flapping in the wind. She slid on her sunglasses as she started the car and put some music on.

“god, I feel so…looked at,” I stated resting my head on the back of the chair.

“hunny, I had a bad feeling about him when he came here,” she warned and pulled out of the parking space. Cole and Hunter were at Hunters car, Hunter put his phone to his ear and Tori’s phone rang. Tori didn’t see them and kept whizzing past, I saw Sage in his car already, he was staring at us through the window as we passed.

“answer that will you,” Tori says.

I tap the answer button and say hello.

“Callie.” Hunters voice starts.

“hey Hunter, Tori’s driving, what do you want?”

“err, for one thing, Sage is following Tori, we’ve just seen him follow you out the car park, secondly, because of this I recommend you to go to ours, if you don’t want to see him still, and 3rd, tell tori to say that I’m having a party tomorrow night,” he says.

I relay it all to Tori and she nods, “you want to go to mine?” she asks.

I nod, I knew Hunter could handle Sage. As well as Cole.

“right, ok, see you later,” I told Hunter.

“wait, you coming to ours?” he asks.

“er, yeah,” I reply.

“ah…ok, see you in a bit.” I hear the car start and Hunter hangs up.

“shit, why is he following us?” Tori asks. Looking in her head mirror and seeing Sage behind us in his fast expensive car.

Tori had a fast red colored  convertible but Sage’s was built to be fast.

She floored it when we got onto a main road. “hold on tight,” she over took two cars.

Sages car came out of sight, he could’nt overtake because of the cars coming the other way, Tori took this as an advantage and speeded down the road over takeing another 3 cars. We got to her house in record timing and quickly walked into the house. We had lost Sage but no doubt he would find us.

“you want a drink?” she asked.

“nah-“

The door banged loudly.

Toris house keeper went to get it.

“NO!” we both yelled but it was too late, she had opened it and Sage barged his way through.

“Callie?!” he called, when he came face to face with me, he rushed over. I was sitting at Toris huge bar.

“get away from her!” Tori threatened.
