The alarm went loud and shrilling and I was in no mood to get up so I buried back under the covers. My mum didn’t come in thankfully. Past events came back to my head and I groaned into my pillow drifting back off to sleep.

Eventually I woke  back up when my mum came to see me finally.

“Honey, I’m going to work…I’ll see you when I get back home.” My mum peeked her head through at about 12.00pm. I just mumbled an incoherent yes and she left.

After that, all day I just read, watched movies and slept, trying to take my mind off Sage.

Tori phoned me during lunch, I could hear voices in the background.

“hey, babe, you at home?” she asked.

Where else? My mind asked. I felt bad instantly. Tori had been there for me all through this, I couldn’t take my foul mood out on her.

“yeah, I couldn’t be assed to come in,” I mumbled. I was buried in blankets and quilts half asleep.

“Jeez, you sound tired,” she said.

Pointing the obvious much?

Stop! I thought.

“um, yeah….i feel it,”

She sighed through the speaker which was loud and I glared at nothing in particular.

“so, what you been doing?” she asked.

“err…stuff.” I grumbled, feeling really peed off for no entire reason.

“no way?!” she said in a sarcastic voice. I just rolled my eyes.

Err..yes way?

Oh. God. Stop Callie! I scolded myself which felt really weird. I was never like this.

“ermm, yeah, amazing huh?”

“very.” She sighed again and I held the phone away from my ear which caused me not to hear what she said after so when I put the phone back to my ear, I heard Aidens voice in the speaker. Damn.

Does she want me to talk to the whole school?!

Stop!!!! Stop!!!!!

“hey Callie,” he said.

“is that her?! Let me speak to her!” I heard Sages voice in the background. Shit.

“no way, its my turn,” Aiden said.

I rolled my eyes, “hello Aiden,”  my voice echoed. I was on loud speaker. Double shit.

“hey Cal, your on loud speaker, just warning.” He said.

No way?!

“go figure,” I muttered and sneezed.

I heard a loud groans.

“shit Cal, you sound like you have a cold?!” Hunters voice echoed into the phone. Cole must be with him too, and Sage….hmm.

“nope, just suffering from depression,” might as well as rub it in to them.

“aww, Cal, your fine,” Tori cooed.

I glared at my oppositte wall.

“hmm,” I answered.

“so what you been doing all morning?” Aiden asked sounding bored.

“err…sleeping, eating, watching t.v, you know, the usual,” I replied.

“the usual,” he mimicked.

“shut up Aiden, I'm not well, leave me alone!”

“well bad luck, hun, I'm coming round yours with homework,” I could almost see Tori grinning. It made me miss her.
