We wound up watching movies all night until we had to go back home to get ready for school.

Once I was at school I felt like a fucking zombie, I was so exhausted. I was aimlessly wondering through the hallways trying to get to my first class. However, someone grabbed me by the arm and pulled me into a janitor’s closet.

I automatically assumed it was Cameron, but I was disappointed to find that my kidnapper was Taylor. “Miss me?” he asked, raising one eyebrow.

I groaned, “No, actually I didn’t. Look, I’m not really in the mood right now to deal with you, so can I just go?” I started backing up towards the door, but Taylor grabbed me.

“You look exhausted,” he said as his eyes checked me over.

I sighed, “Yeah, I didn’t get much sleep. So can I go now or…”

A sly smile spread across his face, “We’re you up all night thinking about this?”

He puts his lips against mine, less roughly than last time, but that wasn’t saying much. Something about him drove me crazy, so I wrapped my hands into his shirt and pulled him closer.

He pushed me up against the door and whispered against my lips, “You like that?”

“Stop talking,” I said as I smashed my lips against his. He chuckled, but didn’t say another word, only deepened the kiss. Soon there was tongue involved and suddenly it was like I had gotten a full night’s sleep as energy rushed through me.

I wrapped my arms around his shoulder and pulled him closer. He took that as incentive to tried and take my shirt off. I pushed him off me and he stumbled, caught off guard.

I quickly opened the door and ran down the hall into the bathroom. I splashed some cold water on my face trying to cool myself down. What the hell? I never did things like this. I never made out with guys I hated in sketchy school closets.

After I had put myself back together I went to art. Taylor wasn’t there yet, thank god. Class had started like 10 minutes ago but I could see my teacher pouring something from a flask into his coffee, so needless to say he didn’t care.

I sat down in my seat and put my head down on my desk, I was starting to get a massive headache.

Eventually Taylor came strolling in like nothing had happened. He didn’t acknowledge me for a while, but right before the bell rang he leaned over and whispered into me ear, “Stop fighting it.” Then he got up and left.

I waited a few seconds before following in his footsteps. I walked down the hallway and I spotted Cameron, I instantly felt better. I walked over to him, “Hey!”

“Hey, wow. You look exhausted,” Cameron said running his thumb over the bags under my eye.

“You don’t look much better yourself,” I said lightly shoving him.

“I wonder whose fault that is…”

I put my hands up, “Whoa, buddy. You agreed to come along, it wasn’t like I forced you or anything. And plus, watching movies was your idea.” I leaned against the side of the locker and just looked at him.

“Yeah, but what kind of idiot would I be to turn down hanging out with a beautiful girl, even if it was late on a school night.”

I started giggling and blushing. Oh lord, soon I was going to start flipping my hair. This was not good. I was getting in too deep.

“I, uh, I’ve got to go,” I said and took off down the hallway to my next class. There was no way I could get involved with Cameron, I’d just wind up falling for him and then we would move. I didn’t want, didn’t need, the heartbreak. I had seen what it had done to my mom, and that was enough incentive to avoid it for the rest of my life.

I found Taylor and I grabbed him by the tie and dragged him into a closet. He must have seen something in my eyes, because he just grabbed me and started kissing me.

I pushed him off me just a little bit so I could talk, “No commitment, right? No feelings, just this.”

He smiled and nodded, “I knew you would come around.”

He started to lean back in, but I put my hand on his chest stopping him, “I don’t want to have sex though, at least not yet…”

He rolled his eyes, “Mmkay,” and leaned back in for a kiss. And this time I let him kiss me.
