After school I walked home while thinking about Taylor and Cameron. I was deep in thought when a car honked at me, making me jump 10 feet in the air. I looked over to see Cameron driving with Taylor in the passenger seat. “Get in.” Taylor said.

“That’s alright, I’m walking home.” I said as I continued walking.

Taylor drove up a little bit and then stopped again when he was next to me. “Fine. I wasn’t offering to give you a ride home anyway.”

I looked at him skeptically, “Well if you weren’t offering to give me a ride home, then what was ‘get in’? Are you trying to kidnap more or something?”

Cameron started laughing. I could see that he was still hurt from earlier today. I didn’t blame him…

Taylor just rolled his eyes, “Come hang out with us.”

Because that’s what I wanted to do. Hang out with Taylor AND Cameron.

“I really have to get home…” I tried to avoid looking at either of them, but it really didn’t work.

“Come on!” Cameron pleaded with his eyes. I felt bad for ditching him earlier, so I groaned and got in the car. I knew I was going to regret this later.

As soon as the door closed Taylor took off, driving like a manic. “Whoa!” I yelled as I practically flew across the backseat.

“You better put your seatbelt on,” Cameron said, “You never know what’s going to happen with Taylor behind the wheel.”

I laughed nervously and put my seatbelt on. We went around a turn and I thought the car was going to flip over. “Holy shit! Are you trying to kill us?!” I yelled at Taylor.

Taylor laughed, “No, if I was trying to kill you, you’d already be dead.” He winked at me in the rearview mirror.

We stopped abruptly in his driveway which caused me to fly into the seat in front of me. When we got out of the car I mumbled to Cameron, “I never thought I’d see land again…”

He laughed.

“I heard that!” Taylor said as he unlocked the front door. We followed him in a plopped down on the couch. “How about a little truth or dare?” he said waggling his eyebrows.

“2 guys, 1 girl… I don’t see that going well,” I replied.

“You scared?” Cameron asked.

“Well, yeah!” I admitted.

Taylor sighed, “Fine…”

We wound up just hanging out and watching TV. Turned out Taylor was pretty cool when he wasn’t being a dick and all. Eventually Cameron had to leave to go to work, and it was just Taylor and I.

I picked up my bag and started to head towards the door, but he stopped me and trapped me against the wall. “What do you think you’re doing?” His breath sent shivers down my spine.

“I’m trying to go home.” I pointed to the door.

Taylor started kissing me across my jawline and down my neck. “Don’t go yet.” His breath tickled my neck. He worked his way back up my neck finally landing on my lips, not letting me reply.

I dropped my bag and wrapped my arms around his neck, deepening the kiss. Suddenly the door flew open and Cameron came in, “Hey, I forgot my-“ he stopped when he saw us together. “Oh.”

I quickly jumped away, “We’re not… This isn’t…”

“Yeah, we’re not,” Taylor added helpfully.

Cameron started blushing and then walked passed us and grabbed his phone. I glared at Taylor, he looked at me like he truly didn’t understand why this was bad.

Cameron walked passed us again to the door, he looked back at me, “Sorry for interrupting, see you at school tomorrow.” Then he turned and left.

Taylor shut the door not looking bothered at all.

I grabbed my bag and tried to maneuver around him to get to the door. He grabbed my neck and tried to kiss me again, but I managed to push him off.  He looked hurt.

“I’m sorry,” I said, “I just really have to go.”

Suddenly the hurt turned to anger. “You didn’t seem to have to go before Cameron came back.” He shoved his hands in his pockets.

“You seem to forget that I was trying to leave and you stopped me,” I shot back.

“Whatever,” he replied and went into his room, slamming the door.

I sighed and opened the door, heading home.
