We had made it to Chipotle ten minutes late and we saw Jack on his phone waiting. I walked over to him and sat down next to him and he jumped a little noticing me.
"Sorry I'm late, we were at Jake's house," I apologized.
"Nah it's fine. You wanna get some Chipotle and then I can teach you how to skateboard or something?" Jack suggested, "Logan's making me vlog everything we do."
"Pffft 'teach' me how to skateboard, I already know how. Just kidding I'm actually terrible. I bet you can hide a camera in your hair and I wouldn't even notice," I teased and he just smiled.
"How do you know that's not what I'm doing?" Jack questioned and I just pretended to gasp as he pretended to reveal a camera in his own hair.
We got up and both ordered what we wanted at Chipotle, both just getting a water on the side with our food. Jack was a chill kind of guy I could sense right away, the type of guy who wouldn't be able to believe that his band was getting so successful, he was very humble about it and didn't really talk about it with me.
We just spoke about normal music besides his own, clothes, skateboarding, and what's going on in my life, I did tell him about the puppy though since I was very excited and hopeful that Logan's viewers would care about another puppy in the house.
Eventually, once we finished eating instead of going straight back to the Why Don't We house we stopped and got some ice cream.
We spent thirty minutes eating ice cream together because the entire time we were just talking to each other about everything that's been going on in our lives and why I needed to post more videos because ever since I've been in LA I haven't posted anything which is the opposite of what you're supposed to do.
"Why don't we make a video where you do my makeup or something," Jack suggested, "That's a popular thing, and instead of it being the boyfriend thing we could be like 'Doing my boy friend's makeup' with a space to show that we're friends."
"That's actually really smart, and for Logan's vlog we can just film behind the scene things. I like how everything I've been doing just revolves around the vlogs," I stated and Jack smiled at me.
"That's what it'll be like for the rest of the time you decide to be Logan's roommate. Everything is for the vlog, but you always have to plug just like he told all of us. @Whydontwemusic on Instagram by the way! Link in bio."
"@Puppybeauty on Instagram, soon to get my own puppy," I plugged in gaining a laugh from Jack.
"When you get a puppy. I have to see it, right away," Jack mentioned, "The rest of the boys can see it, but since I was the first one told I get to be the first one to see."
"I guess since it's working that way, now let's go skateboard. Teach me, I've always wanted to be a real Thrasher fan, but I've just stuck to the clothes and pretended I'm cool," I joked getting a small laugh from Jack again.
"Well now you'll be able to skate," Jack replied as we drove back to the Why Don't We house just to grab a skateboard and mess around in the driveway as we filmed ourselves doing everything, kickflips and all.
Jack taught me all different types of things to do on the skateboard, but I'll be honest and say that after he taught me, I know how to do the things, but I was terrible and didn't know what any of the tricks were labeled even though he tried to explain to me. I still tried to understand and did remember the names of two tricks which were Ollies and something with a 180-degree turn thing on it.
After we had finished fooling around with the skateboard we put it away and drove to Logan's apartment where I had my makeup stash. We went into the bathroom together and I kept the door open since Lydia was there with Ayla. We didnt want anyone thinking we were doing anything.
He helped me carry on the makeup into Evan's room where we'd do everything. I sat him down in a chair and I began applying all different kinds of makeup on him, he let me do everything except for lipstick since he had claimed 'it was too sticky', which was understandable, I hated wearing lipstick also, but there was something about nude shades that I was just drawn to.
"See now can you list any of the things I did to you?" I questioned.
"I know you did eyeliner, mascara, and eyeshadow. I have no idea what else you did," Jack laughed, "I guess I'm as knowledgeable as you when you're skateboarding."
We both laughed and then I showed Jack off to both Lydia and Ayla who both called him pretty jokingly. That's when the door burst open and I saw Logan and Evan they had just come back from the gym and they were... that's right vlogging.
"WAIT! IS JACK WEARING MAKEUP!" Evan interrupted Logan, and Logan turned to him.
"Is this what you and Emma did? You look like a pretty girl. We're doing the interview now while you look like that," Logan insisted sitting us down and Jack just sighed and I swear I could have heard him humming Bad Liar by Selena Gomez.
"So Jack Robert Avery, what made you decide to do this?"
"For the views man. @Whydontwemusic on Instagram. Also, I taught Emma had to skateboard and we vlogged it," Jack answered, "She fell just a few times."
"A few times, does that mean multiple times that's funnier than Jake Paul dropping his mic on stage?" Logan referenced the teen choice awards, I had been forced by Logan to watch a few vlogs, so I knew what was going on and all the inside jokes.
"Yeah," I answered.
"How was the playdate? Did you two smash?" Logan asked, "Oh wait nevermind, you only smash with Jonah."
"There was no smashing, we ate Chipotle, had ice cream, skateboarded and I put makeup on him. I think it was a successful day," I answered, "Also, why do we have to mention Jonah in every vlog?"
"Hush child, I do all the asking!" Logan exclaimed, "Now Jack, have you learned anything about Emma that the Logang should know?"
"I learned that she can't skateboard, she's good at makeup and has a good taste in music. She told me she loves the band Why Don't We," Jack explained putting his band in there one more time.
"She also loves Maverick merchandise, but she isn't wearing any right now... We have to fix that," Logan ran to his room and came back with a sweatshirt and I put it on in front of the camera taking a few minutes to put it on, "Apparently she also can't put on a sweatshirt."
"Will you stop ganging up on me?" I questioned and Logan just looked at Jack.
"I think she needs to take the survey," Logan replied, "Are u gud bro?"
"The Seavey?" I didn't actually hear what he said.
"That's not a yes or no answer," Logan trailed off grabbing a notepad and throwing at me, but I crossed off both answers and just wrote, 'Daniel Seavey,' which for some reason both of the boys thought was hilarious, "Alright this interview is done. Jack, you can leave, also tomorrow Emma's hanging out with Zack and not Corbyn."
Then he put the vlog camera down, "Corbyn texted me and said he needs a few days cause he's getting over a breakup, but doesn't want it public yet or anything."
"Oh yeah, Christina... he won't tell us why they broke up. I think it's just because of the distance though... Also yeah I'm gonna leave I gotta go record in the studio with the great Daniel Seavey himself," Jack told us literally just leaving and it was just Logan and me, but Logan just smashed a plate at me and then went to go edit his video and upload it.
Right before I was going to go to sleep though I told him, "After all this Why Don't We boys stuff we have to hang out, just you and I. You work a lot and I just want some no vlogging one on one time with my favorite older 'brother'."
"Awe you love me over Jake!" Logan exclaimed.
"I wouldn't say love," I replied and Logan brought out his camera.
"Emma just told me that she loves me more than Jake! Say it again Emma!" Logan enthused.
"No," I dully told him as I could tell he was zooming into the camera.
"She loves me more than Jake," Logan whispered into the camera then downloading that footage onto his laptop.
