The first month was the hardest month, where I only posted once a week, attempted to Facetime Daniel every night, but ended up Facetiming once every few days, and all I tried to do was get sleep and lose the baby weight, which I had successfully done quickly since I had a personal trainer.
By the fourth week though I got Louis on a perfect schedule where he'd wake up every two to three hours to feed, so I knew exactly when it was time to do everything.
Daniel was in Dallas Texas, playing at venues, malls and visiting Zach and his family, and he loved to play with Reese and do everything with her.
I had gotten up at two in the morning to feed Louis, and I sat in my rocking chair and kissed him on the forehead as I let him begin feeding. I heard the joyful sound of him suckling gently and I just slowly rocked back and forth staring at the head of my son.
That's when my phone buzzed, and I had to reach for it as and check it, that's when I noticed it was from Logan.
Logan: I don't know if you're up or not, but I need baby clickbait tomorrow. Care to come over with Louis? Also how you holding up, I know you're awake!
I turned on Siri and lightly spoke into the phone, so it texted Logan back.
Me: Believe it or not I'm doing alright now, he's sleeping two hours through the night and then wakes me up for thirty minutes, but besides that, I've had the best sleep I've ever gotten since he was born. Louis and I would love to come over, we'll be there probably in the afternoon right after lunch for the both of us.
Logan: Litttttt! See you then!
I turned off my phone and brought my full attention to Louis as he finished feeding. I put him back in his crib once he finished and went to sleep only to wake up two hours later, which I didn't mind anymore.
When I woke up in the morning to wake up for the entire day it was eight in the morning, I dragged myself out of bed, did light makeup, and then I prepared breakfast for myself and I fed Louis.
I played with him a little and then I let him sleep as I had to feed him again. I watched TV, worked on a beauty video and then I began a vlog since I had the time, but it wasn't going to be a normal vlog, it was just going to be titled my first month of parenting.
While I filmed I talked about my sleep deprivation, my baby blues, Daniel not being there to help me, and how everything felt terrible for the first month, but everything was getting a little better. I posted it on Youtube after I edited and then I fed Louis another time, as I ate something quickly and began driving to Logan's house.
When I reached Logan's house, I took Louis out of his car seat and made my way to Logan's house where I saw him with Brendan, Evan, Ayla, Kong, Maverick, 'Oyela', and Lydia. There must have been a party going on that I wasn't aware of because everyone was there.
"EMMA!" Logan cheered, "ALL THE GIRLS SAID THEY HAVEN'T EVEN MET LOUIS YET!" Logan yelled, but I told him to calm himself down since there was an awake one-month-old baby.
Everyone went around Louis, and I let everyone hold him, but after a while, we put him down in a makeshift crib and we just let him sleep as Logan spoke into the camera and hopped into the pool, trying to get both Kong and Evan to swim with him.
I thought Logan was absolutely insane, but apparently, that was his charm to his demographic, the plate smashing, screaming little boy that I called my brother.
By the time he was done being annoying, which never stopped since he was always such a chotch, he dried off and sat on the chairs as I fed Louis. He refused to look at my breasts though since he thought it was weird, again like a little boy.
"So, Emma. Six months," Logan began.
"I can't wait, I'll get full sleep, Daniel will see Louis, I'll see Daniel, Daniel will see me, it'll be a family reunion oh including Bamm-Bamm," I answered, "Everything's just a little hard right now."
"I understand, so since I'm like four years older than you. Would having a baby be cool?" Logan questioned.
"Well, that depends, Logan. Do you think you and Chloe could handle a baby?" I asked him and he just looked at me and bent down a little whispering in my ear.
"We had a pregnancy scare, but it was negative," Logan answered, "But I was thinking of how cool it would be to have a son, like the way you and Daniel love Louis so much, it's the type of love I'll never experience until I have a kid."
"I think you'd make a great father," I told Logan, "Just without the screaming and craziness, but you're caring, you're protective, you're strong, you run off of no sleep anyway. And Logey, if you want to be a father you do it. You're twenty-three, you can have a kid if you'd like and no one would severely judge you. I suggest though that you and Chloe wait."
"You really think that?" Logan's eyes widened.
"Yeah, maybe start trying when you're twenty-four," I mentioned, "It'd be the best for you two, I personally think."
"You know you're a great mother, and I'm not just saying that because I have to. You're doing well without Daniel, and sure things may be hard for you, but I think you're doing amazing, nineteen, with a baby, and basically raising the baby alone. This baby has only made me gain more respect for you, and all your parenting skills that hopefully, I'll learn," Logan replied making me smile, he was right. I was doing just alright even without Daniel.
