Chapter 18

A few days later the Why Don't We boys were finally back in LA, and their first stop was Logan's apartment. I was waiting on the couch, and that's when the door burst open and there I saw them, all together.

"EMMA!" They cheered while Logan was vlogging, and Logan pretended to look offended since no one mentioned him. 

"Hey!" I exclaimed hugging each one of them, none of them longer than the other. 

I felt a little awkward as I hugged Jonah right after Daniel, but I kept a smile on my face as I interacted with everyone. I knew Logan could tell I was a little uncomfortable, so he made up an excuse to take Jonah, Daniel, and Jack somewhere, which they left to go do. 

Then I was just with Corbyn and Zach, both of which where I knew for a fact we were all just friends and there were no feelings remotely there. 

"So you picked Daniel," Zach blurted out and I nodded my head.

"I know him better," I answered and we all just nodded our heads, it was getting awkward. Something I thought I'd never had to worry about with these boys. 

"Alright, this is getting weird. Let's play COD," Corbyn exclaimed and we sat on the couch in the living room area and turned on the Xbox.

We played for a good five minutes before everything became natural again and we were screaming at each other to go to certain points of the map. 

Eventually, Zach became pissed because Corbyn and I basically teamed up against him, so I was competitively playing with Corbyn while on the corner of my eye I was watching a sixteen-year-old boy play with my puppy and Kong. 

I was turning a corner and I shot Corbyn right away twice, but he managed to jump onto a wall and shoot me from down there. I had died, and I had lost. 

"HA! YOU SUCK!" Corbyn screamed on top of the couch.

"I want a rematch," I demanded as Corbyn sat back down and we started a new game while Zach joined back in since he knew it was going to be us against Corbyn. I enjoyed winning, and I wanted to win against Corbyn.

We got far into the game, but right as I was going to get the last kill on Corbyn the door flung open and there I saw Jack, Jonah, Daniel, and Logan, so I turned to them before hearing Corbyn yell, 

"I WON AGAIN!"

"DAMN IT BESSON!" I screamed turning to him, "REMATCH AGAIN! RIGHT NOW! IT WAS UNFAIR THEY DISTRACTED ME!" 

"Hopefully a good distraction," Daniel smirked, but I just turned to the TV and did a rematch against Corbyn and within ten minutes since we made it a short round, I won. 

"Aha Besson, I have bested you," I sprang up onto the couch and Corbyn just began laughing, "I shall celebrate by walking Bamm-Bamm and Kong. Let's go, Danny." 

"I'm coming?" Daniel asked and I nodded my head getting the leashes and handing Kong's leash to Daniel. 

We left the apartment together with the dogs' leashes in our hands. That's when I mentioned to Daniel, "About our date." 

"I planned it, all today," Daniel grinned. 

"Can you give me a hint as to what we're doing?" I questioned.

"Nope," Daniel answered, "Logan knows though because he wants to vlog it... We pick the parts that are allowed in though." 

"Well if he wants to vlog it, why don't we pretend to smash, so he can just hype up the information and everyone thinks it's real and stuff," I suggested and Daniel just smirked at me.

"Oh, so then anything we do Logan won't care about," Daniel replied agreeing with me, "But like we can't like actually have sex though." 

"No, but we can get naked. Logan will censor it or not even put it on the internet, and then we can like put something over the camera on where ever we are," I told him. 

"Alright... but having sex there might be illegal..." Daniel trailed off.

"Then we'll come up with something that leads up to sex, so people think we smashed after the vlog was done being filmed," I replied and Daniel just nodded his head, "We always could actually smash though." 

"Wait—"

"Joking," I interrupted and I just saw Daniel because how else would you react to something like that, "I mean... if we were to—"

"Oh my god it's Daniel Seavey and Puppybeauty!" We heard someone scream and run over told us we were still holding the dogs leashes and walking down the street, "I love you two! Are you two dating? 

"It's complicated," Daniel answered looking back at me and I just nodded my head, "But yes, sort of. Are you a Why Don't We fan?" 

"Of course! I loved you when you were American Idol and I was only eleven and you were fifteen. I've been to one of Zach, Jack and Corbyn's tours before, and unfournatley I didn't hear of Jonah until Why Don't We," She answered.

"Who's your favorite?" I asked. 

"That's like asking a mother who her favorite child is," The fan answered, "Who's your favorite? I'm guessing Daniel."

"I'm right here," Daniel chimed in and both the fan and I laughed. 

"To be honest Zach, but mainly because I have the best chance with him," She laughed. 

"My favorite's Corbyn," I fake whispered to her and Daniel just looked at me, "Daniel's a close second, but I play video games with Corbyn and he takes Instagram pictures for me. Daniel just takes Instagram pictures for me and showers me with affection." 

"Yeah, but you love it," Daniel pointed out. 

"That is right..." I trailed off pretending to think about it, "Actually I change my mind. Jack's my favorite." 

"See, even you can't decide," The fan laughed, "Do you mind if I get a picture?" 

"Why would we?" Daniel asked her and the fan beamed as we took a picture together, "It was nice meeting you, a fan in the beginning and hopefully forever." 

"I could never stop liking any of you," She smiled before walking out, even though she was fourteen she did seem like a good fit for Zach, there was just something about her, maybe it was because their hair was the same color.

It didn't matter though because all Daniel and I were figuring out was how to get Logan that extra special vlog content he needed and how our date tonight would be the 'best' date that I've ever gone on.
