At some stage, during the night Hanabusa had left, so when I woke up, I was met with an empty bedroom. I got out of bed and walked over to my window to look out, I saw Hanabusa and Akatsuki standing in front of the Day Dorms and I frowned.
What are they doing?
I heard someone open my door and I turned around to see Senri standing there.
I smiled. "Hello, Senri. I wasn't aware that you had returned."
Senri didn't say anything and continued to walk into my room, that was when the light of the moon shone onto his face and I saw his two different coloured eyes and I felt mine widen.
"Rido," I muttered.
He smirked. "Did you miss me, Princess?"
I looked around and then decided to try and rush past him, however, he shoved his hand into my stomach, causing blood to spurt everywhere and my eyes to tear up.
My baby.
"Oh, Oka. You should know by now that you can't run from me," Rido Kuran said, removing his hand and allowing me to drop to the floor with a thump.
I laid on my side as I watched him leave my room, closing the door behind him. I cried as I laid there in my own blood, feeling my body healing itself. My baby was dead and I didn't do anything to stop it. I sat up, feeling that my body had healed enough for me to at least move around. I quickly changed my shirt and left my room, going to find someone to help me. I placed my hand on my stomach and let out a sob as I could no longer feel the presence of my baby.
Where are you, Hanabusa?
I felt myself collapse, but I didn't hit the ground as two arms wrapped around my body and picked me up. I was met by the concerned green eyes of Takuma and I collapsed into his arms, sobbing my heart out.
"What happened, Lady Oka?" He asked me.
"I need Aido," I muttered.
I felt him nod and pick me up. I moved so then my face was buried in his chest as I felt the wind rush past us as he ran to take me to Hanabusa. I was still sobbing at my loss, I didn't know what to do. I had regretted letting my guard down around people. I felt Takuma pass me over to someone and I heard them exchange some words before Takuma left again. I felt myself be placed on the ground and someone squat down in front of me in order to look me in the eyes. I saw blue eyes and blonde hair and I knew that it was Hanabusa. I looked behind him slightly and saw that Akatsuki was there, trying to give us space without getting too far away.
"Oka, what happened?" Hanabusa asked softly, grabbing my face so then I would look at him.
I felt tears still pouring down my face. "He stole her, Hanabusa."
"What are you talking about, Oka? Who stole who?" Hanabusa asked and Akatsuki was now looking at the two of us.
I sobbed again and placed my hand on my stomach. "Rido Kuran. He took away our baby."
Hanabusa didn't say anything and fell onto his knees, his head landing in my lap and I felt tears soak into my jeans. I felt Akatsuki's eyes on us, but he left us to grieve the loss of our unborn child.
"I'm sorry, Hanabusa, I couldn't protect our child," I sobbed into his arms as he hugged me.
He moved so then he could look me in the eyes. "It's okay, Oka. I know you would have if you could," his mind seemed to process something, "She was going to be a girl?"
I nodded, closing my eyes. "I wanted it to be a surprise."
We sat there for a moment, in each other's arms before I stood up, Hanabusa and Akatsuki looking at me concerned. I began to walk away.
"Where are you going, Oka?" Akatsuki yelled out while Hanabusa stood up.
I didn't stop walking. "To kill Rido Kuran."
I left them both standing there and suddenly felt the presence of another vampire. My eyes widened and I rushed to the top of the clock tower where I saw Yuki awakening in her true vampire form. I watched her protect Kaname from Zero and then pass out in Kaname's arms. I walked out and both Zero and Kaname looked at me, both shocked to see me. I looked at Kaname and it clicked in my head what had occurred.
Kaname noticed me slowly coming towards him, as if I was stalking my prey and carefully sat Yuki down before taking off his coat, laying it over her. He turned back to me and smiled.
"You knew that he would return," I stated.
"It was inevitable that he would. Two of the things he wanted the most were at this school," Kaname said in a nonchalant way.
I glared at him, rushing him, grabbing him by his throat and slamming him into the side of the tower, causing a dent to appear around him. Zero jumped down from the top, watching Kaname get his arse handed to him.
"He killed my baby, Kaname!" I yelled, throwing him to the ground, causing him to roll slightly.
Kaname's eyes widened in shock. "Oka-"
I kicked him. "How fucking dare you! You brought this whole thing together, you thought out every possibility! And this was the best you could come up with?"
I collapsed to the ground, tears pouring down my face. I felt a hand on my shoulder and looked up to see the purple eyes of Zero Kiryu. I sat up and he pulled me into his arms. Zero and I had an understanding, but I had never expected him to comfort me. I watched as Kaname grabbed Yuki and left with her. I sat there for a moment in Zero's arms, both of us knew that he didn't really like me that much because I was a vampire, but we both also knew, that if I wasn't one, then we would have been friends.
"Go check on Yuki, Zero, she needs you more than I do at the moment," I muttered, leaving Zero's arms.
He looked down at me and turned to leave, but before he jumped down from the tower he turned his head to look at me. "I'm truly sorry for your loss, Oka."
He then left me there, alone with the shock from the words that had just left Zero's mouth.
