Chapter 1, A little talk. An offer?

Staring off with good old Yami...
As the years passed by I would count everyday. Tomorrow was Yugi's 23 birthday and I was starting to miss the old him. He had grown a lot wiser and has lost the childish side of him completely. But he still likes to mess around and he still laughs like an idiot at a lot of things.

I thought that I could spend the day with Kaiba to get some ideas while Yugi went to Joey. We were at a little café just grabbing some cool drinks as the sun was eating us alive.

"Wait so you proposed to Joey? That's great news Seto! Congrats, " I said as I took a sip of my drink. Kaiba, or should I say Seto had told me what he and Joey had been up to. They moved into their own big house and now even Mokuba was living with them.

"Yeah he started to cry when I did it. After about 10 minutes of sobbing he finally said yes," Seto said and was just swiping on his phone. "So answer me this, when are you gonna grow a pair and ask Yugi."

He surprised me so much I spat out my drink. "W-W-What makes you ask that!?!?" I yelled and started to cough from my drink. How can he even think that!

"I'm sorry that no one ever noticed but you gave of the vibe that you were wanting to do it. Your mind is like an open book," he said and I started to go bright red. Was it that obvious? I tried my best to hide it...

"...Yeah I have been thinking about doing that but I'm still in the thinking process. But you absolutely CAN'T TELL ANYONE!" I yelled and didn't realise that I was attracting the attention of what little people were in the cafe with us. I had to hide my head to try and shield myself. The bell went and we couldn't help but glance over, but with who walked in only fulled us with anger.

Maximillan Pegasus with a bunch of buff guys walked in. We tried to hide our heads, but with our hair it's hard to miss us... "Ah! Kaiba-boy and Yami-boy! Just the people I wanted to see. Got a minute? "

He pulled a chair over without us saying anything and was smiling at us like an idiot. "What do you want Pegasus. We're not going to take part in whatever you have offer us," I said, or more better growled at him.

"Hey take it easy Yami-boy. I know what I have done in the past you may not forgive me but here me out. I have an offer for you."he said and was looking at the menu for the café.  "I want you guys to go to a school and teach some students about duelling. Oh this is open for the others as well if they want to."

"Why the hell should we trust anything you say Pegasus?" Kaiba said and I could tell he was getting mad. I had to kick him under the table to get him to look at me. I mouthed 'calm down' to him and he took a deep breath.

"I totally understand Kaiba-boy. But I would want you to go as this is my way of saying sorry..."he said and one of his guys stood up. I turned my gaze to the outside world as Pegasus was getting on my nerves.  "Hey Yami-boy, where is Yugi-boy? I thought you two were joint at the hip?"

He had caught my attention again but was making me more mad. "We need to get going Seto. Yugi and Joey just messaged me." I said and stood up. The rest of Pegasus's gang surrounded me but Pegasus called them down.

"Alright Yami-boy. But please let me know soon as the school would like to know."he said as I grabbed Seto's arm and dragged him out. We kept walking until we were a fair distance away.

"Can you let go of me?" Seto said and realising that I still had a hold of him. Letting him go, he started to rub his wrist. "Man do you even know your own strength? Learn to be more gentle."

"Hey it was either your wrist or me going after his goons, take you pick." I said and picked up my pace.

"So what's your idea on this anyway? I mean we could do it but I don't want Mokuba or Joey in any danger."

"I don't like it at all. But if Yugi wants to do it then I will join. I will not leave him on his own," I said and as Kaiba picked up his pace to match mine. "Anyway I'm gonna head back and think of something for his birthday tomorrow. "

"See you act like a married couple anyway! I don't know WHY you haven't asked him already!" Seto yelled as he smacked my back. "You just need to take your time, you'll get there soon."

"Just.....do me a favour and don't tell anyone please..." I mumbled,  making Seto laugh at my nervousness. We went our separate ways and soon enough I made my way home.

Aha I just couldn't wait to do this so I'm putting up the first chapter. Yes I have a lot more other stories up but that's cause I have a lot of ideas in my closest :-) but updates might be slow, depends on how much free time I get with school and other problems.
