Chapter 31, Back at it...

*Yugi's POV*

I was the one to wake up first and I couldn't help but look at the new ring on me. Yesterday was the best day I've ever had, getting married to Yami will never be a wrong choice. I got showered and got into a my clothes for the day, soon enough I heard footsteps around the room. I was in the kitchen getting a coffee and saw Yami peeking in from the hall.

"Hey there Aibou, you sleep good?" he asked and came to me wrapping himself around my waist. He gently kissed me near my ear making me giggle a little. 

"Yeah I did, and by your mood I'd guess you did as well. Go for a shower and I'll make some coffee, don't take too long because we need to get back to teaching today," I said and turned to him giving him a proper hug. He went off and I heard another door open, it was Heba. "Morning kiddo, how you feeling?"

"I'm alright, I wanna go visit Atemu in the hospital. I-I know it won't do much but I wanna help him whatever way I can..." he said and went red in the face. Yeah he definitely does like him. He sat down on the couch and I put the t.v on sitting with him. He kept coming closer and tried to make it discreet, but he came to the point to where he was cuddling my left arm.

I just let him and texted Joey to see if he and the others were up, mostly everyone was but Duke was out of it still and he didn't know about the girls. A knock came to the door and I yelled for whoever to walk in, Serenity walked in with a smile. "Hey Yugi, Joey suggested that I come and watch over Heba for the day," she said and closed the door. 

"Yeah that would be perfect, Heba this is a friend of mine. She'll take care of you until I get back alright?" I said and went to get up but he grabbed my arm. "Hm? Something up?"

"I can take care of myself, but I want to stay with you not her," he said and looked at Serenity. He's just nervous, I'm sure they'll be fine when he talks to her. Beside the only reason he's nervous is because he has mostly spent his time with me and Yami. "Yugi can't I just stay with you?"

"Sorry but I have to work today, Serenity will take you to see Atemu and I'll see you on my break," I said and he sighed but nodded his head. Yami came out of the shower soon enough and said hi to the others. "Alright we gotta go now guys, Serenity I'll get Joey to message you when we're done."

And with that, and an unsure Heba we left the room and joined the others downstairs. "Hey hey! There's the newly engaged Kings of Games!!! You guys came home rather late last night," Mai said and I looked at Joey who pointed at Seto. Did he know Yami was doing this!?! For how long?!? How did I not pick up on it? "Shepard has asked we all go back to our normal classes."

I wonder what the students think of us being gone for a while? Questions are gonna be asked for sure. We got to the school and everyone went their own ways in pairs. Me and Yami were going to our classes and we saw Jaden and someone else come up to us. "Hey guys we haven't seen you in ages! Got kind of worried something happened to yous," Jaden said and went for a high five. 

We both did it and his friend just laughed, making me wonder who he was. "Oh this is my friend Jesse. He and a few friends have just come over for a bit, I've been partnered up with him to show him around."

We said a quick hi to them and Yami walked me to my class, he kissed me on my cheek then walked off. I only had ten minutes to prepare for the class before the bell went off, luckily I got everything set up and the first lot of students piled in. "Mr Muto! You're back, what happened we heard you disappeared for a while with other teachers. Are you alright?" a student asked and few girls gathered around.

More students came in and instead of going to their seats they gathered near me. "Aha I'm fine kids. Just a few things came up and I had to take time off, enough about me take your seats everyone we have a lesson to get to," I said and turned my back to the board. I heard them all sit down in there seats and a quick glance over my shoulder I saw everyone was seated. 

"Excuse me, Mr Muto!" a girl called out making me turn fully around. "Pardon me for asking but did you do a little bit of working out while you were off?"

"No I haven't but I have gotten a little slimmer. Sorry to say though I'm an engaged man," I said and raised my left hand. Some of the females gasped while the rest of the students clapped. "Who's the lucky person!?!" 

"Can't say kids, now open your books to page 12," I said and a few of the girls whined. 

Sorry it's took so long with this story, I kind of have been putting it off because I lost my train of thought for it. It'll be updated, just not a whole lot like the others.
