Chapter 19, Researching...

*Yugi's POV*
My eyes feel so heavy. I didn't sleep a wink last night, I was too paranoid with what Yami told us. If we let our emotions run too high then we could lose our soul. Not the first time it's happened to me but I don't want that again.

Yami and Atemu are still asleep but I think I've heard something from next door. So I guess one of them is awake. A buzz came from my phone and it was Joey, he was asking if I could go down to the hotel's café.

I had to close the door as quietly as I could and ran down to meet him. "Yugi did any of them see you leave?"he asked and I shook my head. "I got a call from Shepherd, apparently the school suffered a little damage so it's closed for a few days."

"Hm so that's a few days off of work. Maybe we can look into this dark spirit going round. Has to be some way we can get rid of it." I said without thinking.

"Seto stayed up a little to research but he found nothing. I was thinking we could go have a look in the library," Joey said and handed me a picture. It's the library that we saw coming to the hotel when we got here.

But...I don't think leaving Yami and Atemu alone here is the best idea. We have a few days off so why can't we wait for a day? But starting early would be better...

"Alright but not for too long. I'm afraid that when we come back one will have the other by thier throat," I said and gained a laugh from him. We went to our rooms to see if we could pick up anything. I saw that the both of them were still asleep,  giving me a little confidence boost.

I grabbed my bag and my wallet and was about to head out but heard something move from behind me. Glancing over, I saw Yami had turned onto his back. He looks so different when he sleeps, he looks more calm.

I walked back to him and kissed him on his forehead. "I'll be back soon, so don't panic," I whispered and left our room. Having a final peak to see if Atemu was asleep, I left my room and met up with Joey on the lower level.

*Yami's POV*
Heh, he didn't think I would pretend? Where on earth is he going anyway?  I got up and checked my phone. Only 9, and a message from Shepherd. I guess we have a few days off due to the storm.

I got up and had a quick shower, after about half an hour I got out and changed. Making my way to the living room I saw tha t.v on and knew one thing. "Yugi!! Let's have some fun!!" the idiot screamed and jumped on my back.

I threw a punch at him and he fell against the wall. "Don't even try it, you got the wrong person," I said and saw him pout at me. I sat down with him closely following me.

"Where is Yugi anyway. He normally is up before you and I've had a look around. Has he gone out somewhere?" Atemu asked and took a seat on the other couch.

"I don't know. As soon as I woke up he was leaving and I didn't want him to know I was awake. I'm gonna message him,' I said and grabbed my phone.

'Aibou, I'm awake and where have you ran off to? Remember what I said the other day about emotions. Are you with someone? Let me know please.'

He knows better to not be alone. Maybe he has Joey? Or even Duke. Hell it could even be Seto. "Tell me how the gods allowed you to come here Atemu."

"It's simple. I have a lot more power then you, then most of the others gods there. I asked and they let me but I'll have to go back soon. They need a Pharaoh unlike you who left them."

"Hey they knew me and Yugi were both suffering being apart. Also they gave me the mission to protect everyone and it's what I've been doing," I said and saw him twitch.

"That's why Tristan is dead?"he asked and pushed me over the limit. I got up and grabbed his collar, lifting him into the air. "That's why Yugi can't stand to be near large body of water!?! That's why the others have been scard for life!?! Yeah reall smooth guardian of earth!!"

"You shut the hell up!!"I yelled and threw him on the table breaking it. "You don't know anything! I tried to save him but he saved all of us! Don't even try to pretend you know what we've been through because you don't!!"

"Yami! Yami open the door!!" I heard and someone started to bang. I had one last look at him, he had a cut above his eye and his lip was bleeding. I just left him and joined the person outside, which was Seto. "What is going on in there? Explain."

"We can't keep him here. We need to go and find Yugi now," I growled and went to storm off but he grabbed my wrist.

"Remember what you said, your not immune because you used to be a spirit. You need to calm down," he said and I took a breath.

Atemu is sparking up a storm eh? Yami is letting his emotions go wild, will this be his downfall?
