Whether you'll will have to run, walk or crawl to the finish line, do it and do it big!! The temptation to give up is great but that doesn't mean you should give in. I have given in a few time myself but I always come back.
Finish the race you initiated. Know that there is more honor in finishing last in a race than giving up (I can attest to that too...lmao). Finish your story, revise it and publicize it. That shouldn't pose a problem in todays world.
Let your friends help you get the word out. There are even platforms such as wattpad that can get your books out there. Don't stop even if agents and publishers reject you. If you're waiting, start working on your next novel. Don't sit idly.
