Now, in this chapter I would like to hit a critical issue that some writers make mistakes with, especially novices. 

When such individuals look at the success of famous writers to inspire them, they normally jump right into writing and aim to start and hit big, neglecting the fact these people didn't start big. 

They had to start from somewhere and start small and that's what they fail to notice. 

I'm sure you've heard the saying that tells us that Rome wasn't built in a day or as the title above can also imply. 

Writing a 400-page novel or bible-like story can be daunting like I discussed in previous paragraphs. 

Instead start with a book of short stories or something smaller to get you started.
