This is something I'm fond of doing and so when I give this advice and you find yourself in the same situation, listen to what I have to say because it helps......a lot!

When I'm normally writing on devices, normally typing on my iPad or laptop, I usually like to edit as I go since I do not like seeing a lot of reds highlighted in my work.

It really messes with my flow. Just before I made this book, I realized that this wasn't rather the case. Writing whiles editing simultaneously is what rather kills the flow of writing and can lead to a serious writer's block.

I find it helpful to always write whatever I need to write and no matter how many mistakes I make; I ignore till I'm done.

When I decide to take a short break or have finished a chapter or scene, I then edit and correct my mistakes.

This has caused me to write much more effectively because gone are the days now when ill stop wiring to edit something and end up loosing track of what I was writing. It would take some time getting used to but eventually you'll see the light.
