Asides other problems that may arise when undertaking any task of any sort we all have to admit that self doubt can be one of the most lethal forms of progress hindering.

If you don't believe in yourself then tell me, who will?? The guy next door or your best friend? Your mother?? You have to find a way to deal with self doubt.

Its not something that would stay suppressed forever but knowing how to deal with it and overcome it is a great victory to you and your progress.

In writing, self doubt can lead to a writer postponing their novel, ending it or switching out things that could've made the story better.

Its natural to feel that maybe you wouldn't be up to a given task or project so exactly what do you do to prepare for that?

Document possible things you would do when in doubt. You could decorate and write them down on a card board and stick them up where you'd always see it when in doubt

What are friends and family for?? Talk to your parents or anyone supportive before you are in doubt. Let them know that a time would come when you might be in doubt and want to give up.

Let them counsel and stop a wrong move you might consider taking such as giving up on that novel you were writing. Let them know you would need their support when the time comes.

Lastly...Your Team. The same advice you give to your family to pass on to you, give to your team.

Hold regular sessions that would keep you and your team communicating as to what problems you are facing and solve them early.

The earlier the better or as I like to say 'Prevention is better than a Cure'.
