It's that time of the year again. And I'm all prepared 😉 the only back to school shopping I have to do is, of course, from lush. I'm running low on so many things 😅😅 I'm also broke af so we are only picking up my hair and skincare essentials (but I'm going to try and get free samples because it's the flagship store 😂😭😂)
Okay so you might look at the list and think "oh god that's expensive". Yes it is. But ohhhh boy is it worth it. Lush products have changed my skin and hair better than any of the prescription acne creams ever have! I also think is so much better to buy from a company that doesn't animal test, because tbh it's horrible. There are so many more products that I would LOVE to pick up (but I'm going to wait until my birthday 😂 these will definitely last until October!)
A bit about these products (descriptions from the lush website)Rehab Shampoo: Say Yes! Yes! Yes! to a stint of hair therapy. Let cooling peppermint oil and fresh fruit juices detox locks that need a little love and get your hair ready to go, go, go! The cleansing enzymes in freshly squeezed pineapple, kiwi and papaya juices will be your friend and put your hair back on the mend all in the time it takes to belt out a classic tune. A herbal helping of stimulating peppermint, rosemary and lavender oils calm and refresh your hair and scalp, leaving hair so shiny you'll never say No! No! No! to rehab again. When you ain't got seventy days, work through wet hair before rinsing away to reveal healthy, happy tresses. Always keep a bottle near.
American cream conditioner: A strawberry-loving, milkshake-scented cheerleader for silky Hollywood hair. Warning: has been known to bring boys to the yard. Indulge in this rich and divinely perfumed hair conditioner for shiny, addictively sweet locks you'll want to swish all over town. Fresh strawberries gently cleanse the hair, while a splash of orange juice encourages the cuticles to lie flat and reflect more light for seriously gorgeous gloss.
Soothing clary sage and lavender ensure your scalp gets plenty of pampering too, calming the skin to get you feeling perfectly groomed from root to tip. A mouthwatering strawberries and cream perfume is the cherry on top of the cake. Damn right, it's better than yours.Dark Angels fresh cleanser: This is for those of you who really like to scrub your skin to feel clean, with black sugar and charcoal to exfoliate, and rhassoul mud to deeply cleanse. We also use cold pressed avocado oil and vegetable glycerine to moisturise and soften your skin after all that scrubbing, leaving your skin feeling balanced and fresh. Sandalwood and rosewood oils give a rich, earthy fragrance and have a cooling and antiseptic effect on the skin. We buy our powdered charcoal locally in Dorset. It's a great way to exfoliate and is deeply cleansing, whilst black sugar is in here to scrub away any dead skin cells, leaving you with bright, refreshed skin.
Coalface facial soap:
A gentle soap made with antiseptic rosewood, sandalwood, and absorbent charcoal that can be used on the face and body. Sandalwood oil gives this soap a distinctive earthy fragrance. Charcoal is known for its absorbency, while liquorice root softens the skin and rosewood oil has antiseptic properties. It's gentle enough for your face, but you can use it all over your body. Simply use as a soap and wash the day off.
