"Cole? What are you doing up this late?" Sophie pops her head through the door. Maps and papers were scattered around and Cole was standing over them with a thinking face on and a pen in hand.
He lifts his head up, his face softening from his thinking glare. "Oh, hey Soph. What're you doing up this late?" Cole questions, Sophie walking over to the table and sits on the chair. "Reading. You got me hooked," Sophie smiles softly. Cole smiles. "Well, looks like you've become another one of the victims," he replied.
"So what are you doing?" Sophie points to the papers and maps. "Oh that. I just have this habit of planning from when I was leader," Cole answered. Sophie joins him at the table.
"Maybe is you try this-" Sophie moves a pin to another place, "you'll get the results you want."
"You're right! How'd you know that's what I wanted to do?" Cole questions. "I know you Cole," Sophie smiles. "You know..it makes me feel safe knowing that you have everything under control. Thank you for staying up at night to do this," Sophie squeezes Cole's hand lightly.
They both continued to plan. "Hey Soph can you-" Cole turns around and sees the sleeping brunette. "Don't stay...up too late..Cole," she mummers in her sleep. He smiles, then puts a blanket over her.

With those memories in mind, Cole pushes his way through the forest.
"I seriously owe Sophie such a big apology," Cole mummers.
Sophie rubbed her eyes and looked around. She spotted Cole, resting his head on the table and his back going up and down in a rhythmic pattern. She looked down and spotted the blanket on her, she looks up at Cole, then gets up and walks over to him. She takes the blanket off and wraps it over Cole. A soft smile appears on his face.
Cole wakes up, the sunlight coming in from his window. He rubbed his eyes, looking around. The blanket had all of a sudden appeared on him and Sophie was gone. He wraps the blanket tighter around him. It was freezing with his short sleeves and shorts on.
Cole fixes his gaze on the ground. The area is a grassy field, this path was just one of the many on Sensei's most likely spots.
"Are we gonna wait around for them or keep walking?" Lloyd asks. "We must keep walking. If we stay in one place they could be at another," Wu answers.

Alter swings her sword around, flipping it in the air and doing tricks. "Sophie. Be careful with that," Acheron says, pushing the leaves out of the way. "Ha. I may not have been trained but I know everything," Alter puts her sword back in it's case. "Which I still don't understand..but you do know about the sword right?" Acheron looks over, eyeing the elegant sword case.
"No. Overlord just told me where it is and that's all," Alter puts a hand on it. "Well, it's our family sword. He gave it to me..." Acheron takes the sword.
"Now I'll give it to you properly," he carries it with two hands. Alter stares at him. "This is the Sword of Elveres," he takes out the sword and it glows in the sun. "It looks so breathtaking," Alter stares in awe. "This sword carries many things you will not understand. But as the last surviving family member...only you can use it to its full potential," Acheron looks down sadly. "Why? You're alive, the Overlord is too," Alter questions.
"But you can't use it to its full potential right now," he adds. A confused look appears on Alter's face. Acheron sighs.
"You absolutely can not use the sword other than for swishing around, you hear me?" Acheron looks up at her. "Explain," Alter says, crossing her arms.
"You see. I may be properly giving it to you now but you were born in Ninjago. Not where me and the Overlord were born...you've never been to now known as Dark Island. Once you've gone there..you'll be able to become like us. Not dark...but like us nevertheless," Acheron puts the sword back in its case.
He closes his eyes and the sword starts to glow. The glow goes onto him and Alter, instinctively, reaches out her hand and touches the sword.
The glow goes over her too, and bright light shines.
Then they're both thrown back.
"Ow.." Alter rubs her head. She looks down and finds the sword at her side. It glows purple, then stops. "My Elemental Powers must've added a twist to it," Alter notes. Acheron runs over, then helps her up.
"Are you okay?" Acheron asks, looking worried. "Fine. As in your brother is fine," Alter rolls her eyes. Acheron sighs, then turns around.
"Was John born there?"
"What?"
"Was John, my dad, born there?"
"He was. Although he didn't get the Overlord's power, yet you did..along with Elemental Powers."
"I know that much."
"I know you do." They start to walk again. Mostly in silence and the yelling at bugs.
"If we run into the ninja..you need to stay strong," Acheron reminds Alter. "I know that. But you should be prepared in case I can't," Alter shoots back. "I don't think that'll be necessary," Acheron counters.
"Why? Because your super strong?" Alter scoffs. "No. Because I know you'll come through." That stopped Alter from coming up with a comeback. Instead, she places her hand on the sword and it glows a bright purple.
"The sword likes you," Acheron notes. "You're perfect for it."
"Whatever that means."
"You'll find out when you do to the Dark Island."
"And when's that exactly?"
"After we find Chronos Steel that is."
"So..you'll have me unlock everything about me...then bring the Overlord back?"
"Sort of. Of course, the ninja are an unpredictable variable in our plan."
"No duh."
"Enough of you sassy tone. It's beyond annoying."
"Well, are you complaining?"
"You know it. Now, the Chronos Steel should be just up ahead."
"Let's do this."
