"Time for a rest," Wu calls out from the front. The ninja collapse on the ground. "Young people these days have no strength," Misako shakes her head, leaning against the tree. "We've been walking for like, then entire day!" Jay exclaims, drinking from his water bottle.

"He has a point," Lloyd backs up. "But honestly, they more we rest the more chances of them finding Chronos Steel before we can find them," Cole argues. "He has a point," Zane says.

"If you're tired when we find them, then we'll be taken out in no time at all," Wu closes his eyes, resting his head on the tree. "That's true," Kai agrees, eating a sandwich. "Can't we try and sense them?" Nya asks.

"What?" The ninja look at her with a confused look.

"You know, try and sense them. Like, try and..and...and...uh, you know, try and sense Sophie's elemental powers?" Nya tries to explain. "Oh I understand what you mean," Wu opens his eyes. "Can you do it?" Nya asks. "I can. It may take a while. We don't have that," Wu answers.

"Then what do we have?" Lloyd questions. "We really don't have any time. We don't have strength since we're so tired. We don't have their location. We don't have anything," he adds.

"We do have each other," Kai reminds him. "We have Sensei and Misako," Zane says.
"We have the will to fight," Nya adds.
"We have the element of surprise," Cole reminds him.
"We also have courage," Jay finishes.

Lloyd couldn't help but smile. "Have I ever mentioned that I love you guys?" Lloyd mentions. "You're an idiot man," Kai hugs everyone, a very big group hug.

"Awww," Misako smiles. Wu snaps a picture for the fun it it. "You guys join in too!" Jay exclaims, tying to catch his breath from Kai's iron grip. "Yeah! You guys need to come in too!" Cole agrees.

Wu and Misako join in and hug the ninja. Everyone stayed like that for a while. Feeling safer and, not to mention, stronger.

"Okay, that felt nice," Nya says.

"There's nothing here!" Acheron yells, stomping his feet and punching the cave wall. "Chill dude," Alter rolls her eyes. "There are plenty of other places to look."

"Ugh, we need to hurry. Come, Sophie," Acheron rushes out, Alter close behind.

"Any other stories to tell?" Alter asks, getting board of the silent walk. "What do you want to know?" Acheron asks, tossing aside some wood pieces.

"Well. I know about you and Overlord and how you guys are siblings and all that jazz. Uh, I don't know much about my dad, John, or my mom, Kate," Alter starts.

"I'll start with your parents. John was quite the trouble maker when he was a kid. I remember the Overlord telling me about how he would try to trick him but always fail. He would never follow any rules and absolutely loved to hurt people. As he got older, the more darker his personality became. One day, he showed up with a woman. Your mom, Kate. She was a very pretty young lady and compared to your dad's crazy, all over the place and obvious evil intentions, you mom was more subtle. She wasn't obvious but you could tell. She planned everything out to a wit's end. She was truly intelligent. She always hated her family. She hated her sisters and parents but really loved your dad. They were perfect for each other, I'll give you that," Acheron says.

"Is there more?"

"Well. Let's jut say that your parents were VERY obvious with their love for each other....VERY VERY VERY obvious..." Acheron shudders.

"Anything besides that?"

"Let's make camp before we talk about anything else."

"If you say so." Alter turns to start and gather wood for a fire.

"Be safe! And come back quickly!" Acheron calls out. "I can handle myself, thank you very much," Alter rolls her eyes. "You're brother will be FINE!" She yells back.

Grumbling to herself, Alter chops down wood and gathers the wood. Some of it is still wet but they'll make it work.

Different memories pile into Alter's head and she shakes her head, trying to get rid of them. She chops down wood faster, and faster, trying to get out the anger pulling up inside her.

"I hate myself. I hate my parents. I hate my dad's side of the family. I hate my life. I hate EVERYTHING!" Alter's hand turns black and she melts everything in her path. Alter growls.

"I hate those people who made my life complicated," Alter tightens her fists.

"I'm gonna destroy everyone," she says, slicing a tree with her bare hands that are glowing black.

--------

"Now, I'm going to tell you many things Sophie. It may be hard to take in at first but I'm  sure you will be able to. Of course, you're about to find out everything about your dad and your dad's side of the family. So, I'm not going to be surprised if you hate or love or are shocked or sad about anything I tell you," Acheron warms up a marshmallow.

"You're making it sound like you're about to reveal some big secret or something. It's probably nothing," Alter waves her hand dismissively.

"You would know, wouldn't you?" Acheron smirks. "Heh. You got me there. Now tell me about my family," Alter warms her hands with the fire.

"Get ready. Don't say I didn't warn you," Acheron turns grim.

-------------------------

"Man we are getting nowhere," Jay mumbles. "Ugh he's right. Where are we even going?" Kai agrees. "We're going nowhere as far as I know," Cole answers. "We are walking around the places where we would find Chronos Steel and trying to find Acheron and Sophie," Wu explains...for the thousandth time. He sighs, shaking his head....for the thousandth time.

"You ninja are very lazy," Misako chuckles. "That's those guys," Nya, Zane and Lloyd say at the same time.

"Wait." Wu stops all of them in their tracks.

"What's wrong Wu?" Misako questions. "It's night, we need to make camp."

"I sense them. I sense Acheron and Sophie."
