"Wow you've been through hell bitch" Octavia looked at Lexa intrigued by her story. Lexa did not tell every detailed part to Octavia but she always knew that when it came to stuff like this she could be trusted. It was kind of nice to see Octavia again.

Lexa chuckled and nodded. She had been through a lot but that doesn't bring her down. The past is in the past as she always says now. "So tell me about this" Lexa pointed to Octavia's noticeable bump. "When did you and Lincoln you know?" Lexa didn't want to be nosy but she had missed quite a lot these passed years.

"Lincoln and I met three and half years ago. After quitting his job at The White House he came to New York and we saw each other at a cafe I knew I recognized his face from being one of your body guards. We chatted a few he got my number and it just blossomed from there. We got married last year and now this" Octavia pointed to her stomach smiling. Lexa was truly happy for her. Octavia deserved the happiness after what she did for her with Clarke and all was definitely forgiven with the little affair. It was pretty clear that everyone had moved on from the past letting it go. Lexa wish she could do that for Clarke because the woman was still clinging onto their past for dear life. Lexa needed Clarke to know she's right here and will never leave her side again.

"Hey what are you two doing over here all alone" speaking of Clarke. Lexa looked up and smiled at her wife. Wife huh Lexa wasn't quite sure if they were still married yes by law they are but at heart was a different story.

"Nothing much just chatting and catching up" Octavia shrugged giving Clarke a small smile which Clarke returned. Clarke looked at Lexa then Octavia giving her the hint that she needed a moment with her wife. Octavia nodded understanding and slowly got up due to being pregnant. "I'm going to go find Lincoln he's probably trying to get his hands on another piece of cake I told him to watch his sweets" and if by magic Lincoln was right there casually standing next to the table with the cake trying to get away with sneaking another piece onto his plate. Octavia marched right over to him "Hey!" she shouted catching his attention with eyes wide as if he was a deer caught in the headlights.

Clarke and Lexa chuckled watching the scene. Once Octavia was done scolding Lincoln Clarke and Lexa turned their attention back to each other. Clarke took a seat on the arm of the patio chair Lexa was currently sitting in. "So what were you two really talking about?" Clarke looked at Lexa with those ocean blue eyes with a hint of a smile on her face. Lexa could never deny the woman. Lexa could never lie to her again either.

"I asked her about how her and Lincoln met" Lexa said simply but Clarke gave her a look waiting for the rest of the truth. Lexa didn't like bringing up what happened to her back then she knows it still pains Clarke greatly. "and why I wasn't actually dead for the last five years" Lexa breathed. Clarke just nodded she didn't let it show if she did feel a sharp pain in her chest every time Lexa talks about it. "I think there's more wine in the pantry your mom hasn't touched that yet" Lexa quickly changed the subject trying to ease the tension.

"Lexa I'm fine" Clarke wrapped her hand around Lexa's wrist staring into those green eyes she never stopped loving. Lexa looked at her wife and knew exactly what she meant. Lexa grabbed Clarke's hand and kissed it. Clarke smiled and stood.

"You always were strong one reason I fell in love with you" Lexa always had a hard time expressing her feelings but not anymore life's too short to not tell the woman you love that you love and will love her for the rest of your life.

Clarke smiled watching Lexa. Something was different about the woman and Clarke was still falling for the brunette over and over. "I just fell in love with that jawline of yours." Clarke shrugged making Lexa laugh and scrunch her nose at her wife. "Come on I heard something about some wine" Lexa grabbed her wife's hand and let her lead her to a pantry in Anya and Ravens kitchen.
