Dakotas P.O.V

Ugh! Only 40 minutes to get ready? Is

he crazy? After him slapping my ass,

which I sort of enjoyed, I ran to my

house to get changed. I just ran

upstairs ignoring my mother and

locked my door. I jumped in the

shower. I washed my hair and body

then got out and dried my body. I

washed my face and got dressed. I was

wearing a dark purple skater skirt with

a white tank top that has a purple,

pink, and blue yin yang symbol. I

paired it with my white vans. I quickly

dried and straightened my hair and put

and pink flower crown on my head. I

put some mascara and eyeliner on with

a little strawberry lipgloss. Then I place

on all my string bracelets on because I

hate actual metal bracelets. It was

12:55 when I was ready so I grabbed

my purse, phone, charger and blade

then headed downstairs.

"Dakota where are you going?" My

mother said annoyed

"Out" I said pushing past her

"No you're not" she said

"Kk" I said not looking at her.

Then the bell rang. I opened to see

Hayes smiling and wearing beige kakis

and a black vans shirt, with his red

vans.

"Hey" he said smiling

I quickly pushed him out the door and

grabbed his hand. There go the

butterflies in my stomach. I told him to

run and he did.

"DAKOTA GET BACK HERE" I heard

my mom screamed. But I just ignored

her. When we got to Hayes house we

stopped to catch ours breaths.

"Running...why" he said out of breath

"Mom didn't want me coming out with

you" I said gasping for air.

When we both could breath he just

looked me up and down.

"Take a picture, it'll last longer" I say

smirking

He takes his phone out and "snap" the

camera goes off. I just laugh.

"You look beautiful" he smiles

"You don't look to bad yourself" I said

while playfully poking his stomach.

"You ready to go?" He asks holding his

hand out.

"Yup" I say as we interlock fingers.

Butterflies is all I feel.

"NASH LETS GO" hayes screams

"He's our driver for the day" hayes says

while smiling

Nash comes down says hello and leads

us to the car. Me and Hayes jump in

the back still holding fingers. We talk

about random things and learning

more about each other. His middle

name is Benjamin, his birthday is June

8, he got held back a year, he's going to

be in 8th grade in the same school as

me when summer is over, and he's 5'6.

When we finally got to the surprise. It

was to go bowling. I was super excited

because I love to bowl. I got out of the

car and thanked nash.

"Hey Dakota" Nash yelled

I walked back to the car.

"Yes"

"Um here, uh text me if you need

anything" he said handing me a piece

of paper with his number on. He

winked and said bye.

Okay that was weird. I caught up to

Hayes and we had a blast bowling. He

said not to order food because he had

another surprise.
