Hayes P.O.V

Dakota was horrified to go to school. The entire bus ride she was quiet and couldn't stop shaking. When we got to school no one talked to her, and I mean no one. Her locker was just across from mine which was good. I was putting my books in my locker and turned to see Dakota hugging her knees on the floor. She had a bruised eye and bloody nose. She was passed out though.

3 girl were around her. Laughing they were all laughing at her. Anger rushed threw my body as I ran to the girls.

"WHAT THE HELL DID YOU DO" I screamed to them

"She was tired so I just helped her go to sleep. She deserved everything she got though" the middle girl smirked while wiping blood off her shoe. Dakotas blood.

My girlfriend was lying on the ground in the middle of the hallway, unconscious and instead of getting the nurse, I clenched my fist and aimed for the girls face. She immediately fell to the ground, she passed out.

"I guess were even" I said to her posey

I go over to Dakota and pick her then run to the nurse. There were screenings today and I guess the nurse didn't expect anyone. (If you don't know what a screening is you have to take your shirt off and get your back like measured)

As I barge into the nurses off I see the nurse measuring a girls back, but the girl had nothing but a bra on. He eyes went wide as she saw me the sprinted to the curtain to hide. I yelled sorry to the girl then got back to focus.

The nurse looked pissed until she saw Dakota. Her draw dropped as she ran to the phone to dial 91- fucking 1 :))

"Oh my lord, Hayes honey what happened." She cried

"Some girl beat her up, and that girl will probably be coming into your office any minute now" I say

"Why is coming in" she asked while checking Dakotas heart beat

"Oh we'll I sorta punched in and she passed out" I scratched the back of my head

She looked up at me as her eyes were wide

"Do you how much trouble you going to get in" she said

"A lot" is all I could say

I knew I was gonna get suspended but I could possibly get expelled too. Damn it Hayes!

And of course guess who come walking into the office? Two petite blonde girls wearing all pink tripping over there heals were carrying a girl. The girl. The girl I punched. I looked at the nurse and nodded letting her know she's the one.

Then ambulance came 10 minutes later carrying Dakota and the other girl to the hospital. I watch as it blasts it sirens and begins to drive away. A tear slips from my eye.

"Hayes Grier to the main office please" I hear the intercom yell

Shit. Now right now. Not today.

I just turn and walk out the door. I hear someone yelling for me to come back but I ignore them. I walk faster until I eventually sprinted to the hospital. After a good hour of running I finally reach the the hospital.

I run up the the front desk, panting and trying to breathe.

"Dakota...... Monta........ Please..." I ask catching my breathe

The lady smiles then check her computer screen. Her smile disappears and she just looks at me.

"we have some bad news"
