"we have some bad news"

My heart dropped

"W-what happened" I managed out

"She's in room 704 the doctor will explain it to you. Are you family?" She asked

I was hesitated but nodded "uh yes im her boyfriend" I hopped I could still go see her

She looked at me with sympathy and nodded. I ran through the hospital trying to find her room.

I barged into the room to see a bruised but awake Dakota holding her mothers hand. Her other arm was broken.There were 3 doctors in the room

"Dakota" I run over to her and give her a huge hug and kiss her on the forehead. She looked up at me scared and really confused.

"I was so worried" I go to grab her hand but she pulls away

"Dakota are you okay" I ask

"I'm fine....Who are you" she asked

I couldn't think. She doesn't know who I am.

I look over to miss Monta, her eyes were watery.

"Hayes, Dakota doesn't remember anything. She has amnesia" she sobs

(Is amnesia or anesthesia when you forget stuff? I always get them mixed up. Srry bby)

My world starts to spin. How is this possible?

"I-Wha-How?" I choke out

"When the girl punch her she fell and hit her head. The when she kicked her nose she blacked out and now lost her memory." The doctor told us

"Will she ever get it back" I asked

"Maybe but there not sure" her mother was now bawling her eyes

I texted Nash and the rest of guys to come to the hospital

"Yes hi um who are you" she asked again

"I'm Hayes Grier. Your boyfriend" I say holding in the tears

"My-My boyfriend?" She sounded surprised

I nod and waiting for her response

"Well we dated for a reason. And I don't want to end our relationship just because I can't remember anything" she's playing with her fingers

"I love you Dakota" I just stare at her. Shes beautiful

She looks up and lightly smiles, "you loved me" she asks

"I still do love you"

Her smile grew even bigger, "I wish I could remember you Hayes"
