Hayes P.O.V

No one did anything at first. We were all in shock.

After about 5 seconds everyone finally realized what was happening. Mahogany started crying even harder so Jacob rubbed her back trying to comfort her. Nash and Cam ran to Dakotas side screaming for the doctor. Jack and Jack and Aaron went to get the doctor, and shawn, carter, and Taylor left the room and Matt he just sat there with his head in his heads.

I. I was standing in the middle of the room. Frozen. Everything seemed to go in slow motion like in a movie. I saw everything so clearly, I couldn't move.

3 doctors came running in and pushed Nash and Cam out of the way while yelling commands and each other. A nurse rushed in with a tube thingy and started pumping Dakotas heart beat trying to get it started.

Doctors and nurses were yelling and running around each other. I just stood there and watched.

"CLEAR THE ROOM" yelled someone

"Hayes we need to leave" nash said with tear in his eyes

Nothing. I didn't even react. I just stood there.

"HAYES LETS GO" nash and cam both grabbed me and dragged me out of the room

As we waited in the waiting room I still couldn't focus on what was happening. I just stared and everyone.

Mahogany had left with Jacob along with Aaron and the Jacks. Just me, nash, cam, carter, Matt, shawn, and Taylor were left. Everyone's eyes were red and puffy, but mine. I didn't cry. I could process what was happening.

"Dude are you okay?" Matt asked me

I just nodded. "He's in shock I think" Matt murmured

Hours passed by and nothing. No bad news. But no good news. No news. I finally realized what was happening but didn't speak I just cried and cried.

I started to doze off when I heard "Dakota Monta?" I looked up to see a doctor

"Oh yes" Nash answered

I didn't want to hear the news. I couldn't bare and hear bad news. If she died. I died.

I brought my knees up to my chin and burrowed my face in my knees covering my ears. I silently screamed and cried while rocking back and fourth.

"She's not dead, she's not dead, she's not dead" I said aloud shaking

I felt someone grab my shoulder "Hayes" it was nash

"No, no, no!" I yelled tears pouring down my faces

"Hayes listen to me!" Nash yelled

"Lalalalala no no no" I was still covering my ears crying

"HAYES!" Nash screamed, "she's alive! Calm down"

My heart rate started going a million times faster. She's alive. SHE ALIVE.

I got up and started to walk to her room but nash stopped me

"Move" I groaned

"Listen to me" he wasn't telling me something

"What's wrong"

"Dakota is alive and stable, but we can't see her. No one can. She's depressed Hayes. Very depressed. The doctors are sending her to California to a depression house to get better."

"We can visit right? When will she be back" I started crying again

"Hayes, Dakotas has nobody here. She'll be staying at the depression house for 2 years or until she fully recovered." He paused "then she'll be living there with her aunt Natalie"

My heart shattered into my a million pieces. I slowly fell to ground trying to control my tears.

"I'm sorry Hayes" cam said to me with a tear rolling down his cheek. "I'm so sorry"

My Dakota gone. For two years. Forever.
