Dakotas P.O.V

"Will you be my girlfriend?"

Wait what?

Matthew Espinosa wants me to be his girlfriend. I should he freaking the flip out but im not. I didn't know what to do or say.

"Uh" I stuttered

He looked sad when I said that

"Yes" I smiled and his frown disappeared into a huge smile

He leaned in and gave me a quick peck on the lips

"Thank you" he whispered in my ear as he walked back to his car

I ran inside to my room and shut the door. I changed into shorts and a tee shirt with a messy bun, I went on to twitter and tweeted

"@themattespinosa : smf tonite love ya babe ❤️"

He immediately tweeted back "@DakotaMonta : love you too bby ❤️😍"

A smiled grew across my face but quickly disappeared once I saw all the tweets I got in return

"Is this slut dating Matt" "he can do wayyy better" "she's not even pretty" "she's just using him"

I felt tears fill my eye. What did I do to these people?

My phone light up and I saw I had a text from Hayes

From Hayes💋 : are you and Matt a thing now?

To Hayes💋 : yeah :)

From Hayes💋 : oh well just be careful

From Hayes💋 : you don't really remember anything but matts kind of a player

To Hayes💋 : stop lying Hayes, Matthew is a sweetheart! 😡

I didn't answer him. Why would he lie to me about Matt? I decided to text Taylor

To Tayy😂💕 : hey um can we talk? tomorrow please?

From Tay😂💕 : of course bby wanna meet at Applebee's around 6?

I locked my phone and decided to watch some Netflix.

When I was done it was around midnight so I decided to go to bed

But before I did I checked twitter one last time nothing really stood out besides one tweet

It read "@hayesgrier : just because you forgot about something, it doesn't mean I didn't. People need to realize who's telling the truth 😔"

And with that I went to bed.

Still Dakotas P.O.V

The entire day has been a bore all I've done is watch tv and check twitter. I was excited to talk with Taylor. He's so sweet and where best friends again. I feel like I never forgot Taylor

It's 5:55 and I'm waiting in Applebee's for him. I asked Matt what he was doing today but he just kind of ignored me, and said he was busy. Well okay then?

"No no where is Dakota?" I heard a familiar voice say, "DAKOTA IM HERE"

Oh Taylor. He saw me and I waved him over.

"Hey Dakota" he smiled and gave me a peck on the cheek

"You can't go anywhere without making a scene, can you?" I stated, he chuckled and we gave our orders to the waiter

"One lemonade with the chicken salad wrap" I said

Taylor looked at me with disgust "salad? Really?" He asked

I nodded and giggled

"while she's eating boring I'll have a coke with the steak, medium rare" he smiled proudly like he beat me in food

"Okay now seriousness, what's up with you and Matt?" Taylor asked

I told Taylor about our date, and how he asked me out, then about what Hayes said to me. Taylor just nodded and stared like he was thinking.

"Dakota um well Matt is sorta a player" he looked away

"But why, what did he do?" I felt my stomach turn, Hayes told me the truth and I was a bitch to him about it.

"When he dated a girl name Kyla he would flirt with every girl and she dumped him he she found him cheating"

"He won't do that to me right?" I asked scared

He looked down then back up, "I don't know Dakota, I don't know"

"I'm gonna go get another drink" I said

"I'll come with you, be there in a sec" he said

I nodded and walked to the bar. I got dizzy from the smell of alcohol, so I had to hold onto the bar for support

"1 Sheryl temple please, with extra cherries" I asked

I looked to my right and saw the cutest couple ever. I couldn't see the guy but the girl was beautiful. She had blonde hair in a pixie cut style and eyes just like Hayes. She had baby blue braces that looked amazing on her. The guy was wearing a black shirt with beige khakis. I couldn't see his face.

"One Sheryl temple" the bar lady said

"Oh that's mine" I took it from her hands and sipped it, mm soo good.

"Matt where's mine" the blonde girl was doing a pouty lip and batting her eyes

"Fine ill ask" he said while kissing her lips

That voice. I knew that voice.

As soon as he turned I saw his face. It was Matthew.

I dropped my drink and just stared. He looked at me stunned.

"Hey who are you looki-" Taylor came up from behind me

"you fucking dick!" Taylor screamed, "your dating Dakota!"

"Stop" I mumbled, but no one heard.

I just stood there, getting even more dizzy and weak.

"I knew you would do this to her!" Taylor screamed while punching Matt right in the face.

"Taylor" I whispered while falling to the ground. I felt as if I went in slow motion. I just let for of the bar and fell. I saw the blonde girl but everything went fuzzy. My head hit the back of a chair and I passed out.
