Hayes P.O.V

When I was walking home I saw Dakota riding her penny board, crying. I called after her and she ignored me. I needed to talk to her. I started chasing her but she just went faster. She headed into the park but I lost her. I looked around everywhere and couldn't find her. I remembered she always climbed this one tree, so I ran to the tree you find her lying on the ground. She looked at me and grabbed her blade then made a huge gash in her arm. Her arm was ready covered in blood.

"DAKOTA" I screamed while running towards her but she out, breathing but not conscious

I called 911 then called my mom and Nash. The ambulance arrived in the next 5 minutes and lifted Dakotas motionless body into the ambulance. Did I make her do this? I ran over to her tree and collected her phone and bag. I gave the pill bottle and blade to the ambulance.

I decided to go through her phone, I know not good but she won't know. I saw someone named Jared that she texted and called a lot. Who the fuck is this.

(Convo between Jared and Dakota)

D- Yeah he just makes me happy, you know? I don't cut when I'm with him

J- Awe D that's awesome I'm happy for you

D- I have to go its Hayes birthday party! It took me hours to find and call all his friends and I spent all my money on this for him. But I love him so he's worth it!

J- What happened

D- he was making out with another girl

J- Dakota its okay dont do anything that will get you hurt though, okay?

D- I-I-I just had sex with someone who I just met and have no feelings for.... and Hayes saw it all

J- Shit Dakota! Again? Your 14!

H- yeah ik and idk im going to the hospital now she's staying at St. Mareins Hospital
