CHAPTER 8

WRONGDOING

thIS IS NOT A SHIP.I REPEAT. NOT A SHIP.---

"Ouch, why'd you do that?"

"Shut the fuck up! You're *suit* is giving away our spot!"

Karrie whispered angrily to Karina who was wearing glowing spandex with some armor.

Karina 'tch-ed at Karrie and this made her more angry.

"I swear on you that I'm going to kill you."

"Haha, if you can." Karina smugly said with a smirk that Karrie will never forget. She ignored her smirk and proceeded to watch the target.

Their target was a Π≈§. One of the most unmerciful beings in the world. They have the looks of a human but in the inside, they're nothing but a mere demon who turns real humans into slaves. Probably other creatures too.

"Π≈§ is moving to another place. C'mon Karina." Karrie told her as they both sneakily followed the Π≈§.

They were now in a building with brown and huge boxes surrounding them. They crouched in a dark spot and their eyes followed the Π≈§ .

The Π≈§ stopped walking and waited for its client.

"Karina, now!"

When Karina was about to use her special ability, a white hooded woman suddenly appeared and threw a pink smoke bomb on the ground.

The Π≈§ was blinded by it and was sliced cleanly in half. Karina and Karrie didn't see how the white hooded person killed the Π≈§.

"You idiots."

The hooded woman was Natalia.

"This is my job. Who told you to run over it?" Her tone was angry and her light blue and gray hair swayed.

Karina gulped and wanted to blame Karrie who was just watching them in a distance.

"You bitches, if you two do this next time, I'll kick you out in the agency. Remember Karina, I am the one who gave you a chance to join. Never do this act again." Natalia pointed at them with her sharp, golden claws.

At that, she disappeared into darkness. Karina fell to the ground with complete defeat. Tears about to burst but didn't allow herself.

"Ugh.. I told you." Karrie stood, finally able to stretch. They exited the building in silence.

Both of them wandered through the forests with the moonlight above the both of them.

Karina suddenly spoke which surprised Karrie.

"I-I just wanted to prove something. I n-never stood out in the agency. All of them w-would ignore me." Karina cried and covered her eyes, sadness taking over her mind.

Karrie pitied her but they felt the same, not wanted and being ignored. Many people hated Karrie's race but Karina accepted her quickly. She thanked Karina for existing.

She grabbed Karina's face and saw her cute, crying face.

"Look Karina you're not ignored, I'm here to help you. You stand out in so many ways so please don't say many bad things about yourself. I'm your friend, okay?"

Karina widened her eyes. Never ever has she heard Karrie say that... But she needed that. She needed someone to comfort her cries for Karina was in a dismay.

She felt like drowning but Karrie saved her.

Karina hugged Karrie.

"Thank you so much."

"No problem, friendo."
