Lesley screeched.

Yes. Screeched.

"EEEEEEEEE!!!"

She ran with all her might as a huge rat followed her. If i use my gun now, i'll get stomped or eaten by this thing and i don't want that!

She tried using her camouflage ability but the rat still knows where she was and it scared her very hard.

Help is what she needed right now.

So much for depending on my luck!

Turning to a corner, she almost tripped because of her, erm, running heels. Her feet were hurting so bad and probably sore. "CUNTY RAT! STOP CHASING ME!"

The rat screeched even louder than before and their movements even fastened.

"FRIIIIII---"

A ring of fire surrounded the poor looking rat and movements slowed. That was, until, the fire went inside the guts and burned every organ living inside it.

She gasped for air and temporarily removed her heels that ached her feet. "Fucking hell... Why are you here?" She asked. To her brother in particular but she was replied with silence.

She looked up to scream at him but he wasn't there."Huh.." Lesley muttered when she picked up a few cards on the cold and hard ground. She was familiar with the cards, too familiar.

The cards were a hint and she knows who would have these kind of cards. Cards with a playful grin on the bottom right corner.

"Harley.." The name came out suddenly. She certainly did miss that ginger. That ginger being a little brother by one year.

Her eyes squinted, knees crouched, back slouched, face scrunched.

Man, she not only did miss him but his magic tricks. Harley was a magician she could call. His tricks were pure, even though there he has magic.

Yes. Magic.

She loved him to the bottom of her heart but his magic made her jealous all over the top. Born with no magic, which is why she was discarded as 'untalented child'. Though her parents loved her, hated at the same time because she was the only person with no magic.

But her knowledge with snipers was what made her special too. Her parents paid no heed to that and continued to praise her little brother, Harley. Teachers were surprised but alerted because she might do the wrong thing in the future.

That didn't stop her from riping her talent.

Grown up she is now, 25 years old, did not like remembering her old teachers. The way they taught her frightened her very poor mind. Shivering, she grabbed her own sniper weapon. The weapon shone in the dark as her pink hair glinted.

She out on her heels that she had no choice but to wear.

She used her non-dominant hand to pick up the ace card on the group, dusting it off in the process, putting it in her pockets. She checked her ammos and saw that it was enough.

With a sigh, she took a glance of her map and looked for her next destination...

"Eru.. Eru... Eru city... Aha! There." She put a small dot on it and moved her feet to where she had planned.

But in the deepest part of her mind, she had one question.

Why is Harley here?

He was supposed to be somewhere else, not somewhere near in the land of dawn. She sighed and walked forward but a voice stopped.

"Hello!" It was filled with excitement.
