CHAPTER 11

SHIELDED

Ugh i finally made a chapter for her------

Miya wandered through the woods, in search for her friend Zilong who was recently fighting a beast. Miya looked all around her and saw nothing. This made her worry about Zilong's existential being. She swatted the leaves that kept on blocking her view and stomped on petty insects that was walking on the ground. She scruffed and suddenly became annoyed to the fact that she can't find him.

A purple butterfly showed up in Miya's vision. It flew around and Miya was intrigued at how it glowed purple-ish as it left sparkling violet streaks. She snapped out of it and realized that she was following it.

Miya was confused because she was sure that she didn't walk yet. She left the thought behind her head and also realized that she was standing upon a bright glowing purple cave. She thought that Zilong might be here because he gets curious easily. She went in and saw beautiful crystals that was purple. She wanted to take the crystals home but she knew that she was just being a greedy elf. As she continued to walk to the mysterious path, it was getting dark, darker and alot more darker.

Alas, she didn't see anything for it was too dark. She swayed her hands around and touched something cold and hard. It was familiar. She decided to go to the top and she felt human hair.

'Is this Zilong?' Miya thought.

As miya kept touching his hair, a butterfly flew away as it slowly revealed a Zilong that was stuck onto a wall, purple vines restricted him and he was asleep. Miya screamed in her mind because if she did scream in real life, game over.

She covered her mouth and heard footsteps coming. Miya panicked and hid in a small hole in a wall where the person wouldn't see her. The footsteps came close to reveal a woman wearing a revealing suit with butterfly wings, smiling at Zilong.

"Oh dear Zilong, accept my power and let us rule over this pathethic world. Let's make it great again, like how it used to be." The butterfly woman said as she used almost of all her power to make a small crystallized ball.

"Like I'd eat that thing." Zilong said(he woke up after miya hid) but his eyes never opened for he knew that his eyes has changed due to the woman's power. The woman smirked at him.

"Did I say you'll eat it?" She said as she walked farther from Zilong and stopped at a certain distance. "You see if i put this crystallized magic ball inside you with no force, it wouldn't work. Which is why I'll just throw it at you, you'll feel pain in the process but it'll disappear, sweetheart." Zilong widened his eyes and struggled to the vines grip but then felt weak, as if half of his life was sucked out by the magical vines. "Sounds stupid but its my logic."

At this Miya immediately came out of the hole and made her bow appear. She pulled her arrow and let it go, hitting the crystallized ball. The woman grunted in pain because the arrow hit her hand too. She roared at Miya with a Lion's voice.

The woman threw a violet flame in an unbelievable speed. It didn't knock Miya back but she felt unbearable pain and screamed. The flame faded but it left a huge burn on Miya's half body. Miya looked very scary.

The woman smiled when she saw Miya weakened by the flames.

"That's what you get when you interrupt in affairs, sweelf." The woman left Miya in that horrible condition. Miya had troubles standing up and she felt so unneeded in that situation for she can barely walk. Miya somehow found her familiar like.. She has seen her somewhere?

'Oh no.. She's Modena Butterfly! Why did I just realize that now??'

Miya bit her lip in anger to herself. She was too stupid to remember the woman. Modena pointed the crystallized ball to Zilong as he looked lifeless.

Then the woman threw the crystallized ball to Zilong and Miya used her stealth ability.

Instead of Zilong, Miya got hit with the small ball that had magical substances inside it.

Zilong looked like he saw something horrifying and Miya just stood there, eyes widened.
