CHAPTER 27

ONE SHOT, ONE KILL

Lesley killed a monster with one shot of her sniper. Whistling with a cool tone, she took the bounty the monster had, consisting of iron ingots.

"Not bad, aye?" She gave a smile and patted to herself. How awesome she is. But her small and sad celebration was ruined by a sound of cards.

"?" She wondered what that was.

Lesley shrugged it off as nothing and walked away from the dead monster. As cliche as it seems, the monster didn't die completely. It grabbed her feet and threw her to a tree trunk, which almost destroyed her fragile, human spine.

"Holy sh—"

The monster roared and charged at her. She looked everywhere for her gun but it wasn't beside her. She then entered camouflaged state and stealthily but quickly grabbed her items as much as she possibly can.

With pure luck, she managed to get away with all her stuff unscathed, except for her back that hurts really bad, and let out a happy squeal. "God, i thought i was going to die there. Thank you for being dumb, monster."

She smiled and walked slowly, grabbing a map from her small bag. "Sooo next stop is... Eruditio city!" She has visited many places yet didn't found her little brother.

She was glad that Eru City was close because her back might need some little healing. A rustle came from the tree and grabbed her sniper, it didn't seem to stop so she shot it with no hesitation.

OH MY!

Lesley's face became so happy that she couldn't even describe it anymore. She apparently killed a fruitbird, once a fruitbird dies it turns into a tasty fruit. Really edible. 'I'm so lucky today!'

Happy tears fell down and ate the magical fruit of flavors. Dang it was delicious! She grabbed her water bag and drank.

"Ah! What a great day! Might as well enjoy it." She meant by slowly walking and look at the beautiful nature.
