CHAPTER 10

HE WHO IS IMPORTANT

Let us see on how Kagura is doing with her stalking---

Kagura followed Hayabusa everyday, non-stop and it didn't make her tired because of her determination but in a one hot afternoon, Kagura was sweating badly on how hot the weather was. The trees felt like they weren't even blocking the sun anymore. Kagura looked at any directions to know whether she was clear or not because she was going to do something that a boy is not allowed to see.

She observed her surrounding to see nothing but healthy plants all around her. She started stripping her kimono off and under her thick kimono was a white sleeveless shirt with sky blue shorts. She knotted the kimono around her waist and she felt so refreshed. The air was finally flowing through her skin, making her shiver in satisfaction.

She closed her precious umbrella and glanced at the sleeping Haya inside a small cave. She smiled and leaned on the huge tree, a spot where Haya couldn't see her when he wakes up but she can see him.

Though her eyes were getting heavy, she would still follow Haya when he wakes up.

It was already night when Haya woke up. It seems that Haya likes to move in the darkness. Kagura dozed off and immediately woke up after hearing footsteps. She dusted her Kimono first then wore it.

She saw Haya jumping from trees to tress in a fast pace. Kagura followed him without making any noise because if she did then she done fucked up. She saw something glowing to the distance. As she ran, she saw a village the was glowing yellow. Haya stopped and Kagura hid behind a tree then a voice suddenly spoke up.

"I knew that you would search for me Hayabusa.... Or should I say New Shadow?" A man wearing a ninja suit that is almost the same as Hayabusa showed up, smirking at him. Hayabusa readied his stance and held his black sword with red streaks.

Kagura slowly backed up and hid to another tree for she might get caught in the fight causing Hayabusa to protect her and she might be a distraction herself. Hayabusa threw 3 shurikens at the man.

"Why did you kill Tatsuki!?" Hayabusa shouted with great anger, hitting the man with his sword but the man kept on blocking his attacks. The man smiled at him creepily and jumped away away for Haya.

"I admit that he was stronger than me but to my perspective he was showing off like an asshole. In every mission he completed, he would brag about it and tell on how easy it was. That made me angry. He was always first and I'm always the second." The man said. "So I decided to become the top in the easy way. Sadly, someone caught me causing for me to become wanted."

Hayabusa gritted his teeth and used his known move in his town "Shadow Kill"

The man kept on stumbling and bleeding. Hayabusa stopped and stared at the man. The man started to laugh and this confused Haya.

"HAHAHA!!!! DID YOU THINK YOUR SILLY NINJA MOVES WORK ON ME? THAT TICKLES!" The man suddenly disappeared in a flash causing Kagura to gasp. "Boy, you're still young and I, the previous Shadow, Akio, have trained for 25 years."

Akio stabbed Hayabusa on the sides and did it for how many times. Kagura started to cry silently in the shadows.

"Rest in peace, Shadow Bo-" Before the man could continue, Kagura has already hit him with her umbrella, strongly crying for her dear friend. Akio wasn't aware of her presence and let his guard down. He then smirked at her.

"Too late umbrella girl."

Akio fell down, his stomach bleeding intensely but Kagura didn't care. All she cared for was Hayabusa. She dropped her umbrella beside Hayabusa's body. She hugged him with all her heart.

"I'm sorry."

She said as she cried and mourned for him.

"I'm such a failure."
