She–

They finished kidnapping the ultimate weapo—"LET ME GO!" Yeah, that. "I SAID LET ME GO!" Miya yelled there and there in a cage, that Layla and Nana used to to be in. She clenched her teeth and gripped on the prison bars tightly.

She felt so frustrated to the fact that they kidnapped her while she was in her sleep, and hurt her friends. Sparks of violet were visible but none noticed it, and veins started to show.

"Behave yourself, Miya." Odile said, frowning over the fact that she was being rowdy. "You don't want your friends to die, do you?" Not looking over to Miya, she threatened her.

Miya bit her lip.

'Why? Can't i atleast do something for them?'

Her thoughts of anxiety and doubt crept in.

'They've helped me and i'm beyond useless if i can't even do a single thing for them.'

Tears were about to come out but she wiped them so that they won't be seen. Her crying in that positions makes her look pathethic, is what Miya thought.

'Would you like some help?'

Her eyes dilated and searched for the source of the voice. It wasn't the people around the cage nor Odile. It was someone else. Someone she can't see.

'I'm in your head.'

Miya realized it was her power talking. Or Modena's to be exact.

'You know, you are much more powerful than these abyss creatures. Why submit to them?'

"Oh shit!" Harley cussed. "Lolita! Bruno!"

Both said people turned their heads to Harley. "What?" Bruno asked, sensing Harley's distress. "Did something happen?"

"No but it's about to happen!" Harley pointed at the sky and Bruno's face paled. It was an incoming meteor.

"Cheesus!" Bruno clicked a button on his arm and it glowed red. Harley guessed it had to be some sort of communication device because Bruno spoke on it.

"Attention All Scholars, begin the Defense 040!"

Right after Bruno said that, alarms started blaring and people were scrambling into their houses. Children on the street were gone and it was just people screaming.

"You two!" Bruno directed his voice at Lolita and Harley. "Go to Harley's place. There's an underground bunker there. Move!"

Lolita didn't want to go though. She wanted to help whatever Defense 040 was. "Let me go with you-"

Harley grabbed her wrist, not harshly. "Let's go!" Lolita made an angry expression on her face and pulled back her wrist. Her eyebrows furrowed and wrinkled with anger.

"No! You expect me to go there when this city in danger? You think i'll let this slide!" Lolita angrily yelled at him but Harley was clueless to what she said. She made eye contact with Bruno. "I'll help with whatever you need. Anything to keep Eruditio safe."

Bruno locked his gaze with Harley for a moment then to Lolita. He knew what happened to her and he knew how stubborn elves were. "Alright." He looked at the sky and the meteor wasn't close yet but it was there. "Follow me. Both of you."

Harley nodded, kind of scared of Lolita. He was shaken by her anger.

Based on what Lolita said, it seemed that she was keen on keeping Eruditio safe. Maybe something happened to her. Maybe its why she was in the hospital days ago.

Ruby smiled, tightly holding to Angela's head. "Look look! It's Eruditio City, right?" She nudged Roger's arm with her own. Roger nodded and looked at the City.

Alucard chuckled at her. She seemed so childish when around people she was comfortable with.

He found himself staring into the City.

And then at the meteor in the sky.

Lesley sighed in relief when Eruditio came into her view. "At last!" She screamed with joy but then it disappeared.

A meteor.

"What in the fucking fuck." She muttered and ran with her heels. You think that she'd get used to wearing heels? No.

The chances of Harley in Eruditio was high, for her. So what if Harley ends up not being there? At least she was able to save a goddamn city!
