CHAPTER 9

A MAGICIAN APPEARS

My vocabulary sucks. I don't have much words.---

She woke up..

She woke up?

"Oh my elf, I'm alive!" She yelled and moved around to see if this was true. She looked at the shining sun and yes, it was true. She saw wires stuck into her body and ignored it because it didn't cause any pain.
She was in a room where objects were unfamiliar for her.

One thing that she knew was that this place was way more advanced in technology than their town that is advance in magic. The sunlight touched her skin as if it wanted to talk and play. She closed her eyes and wondered of what happened if she died.

That moment was ruined by a door opening. She immediately opened her eyes and looked at the person going in. His height was like hers and wore a black hat and black clothing.

"Sorry Ma'am, did I interrupt your show?" He asked with a smile glued onto his face. Lolita skipped a beat and composed herself.

"I-Uh.. You didn't .. Sir-"

"Harley, at your service ma'am." He bowed down to her with a playboyish smirk and this made her blush a little bit. She thanked him as he put the tray that he was carrying, which Lolita didn't notice. On the tray was box full of small.. Plastic things that was unknown to her again.

"What are those?" Lolita asked.

"Oh these are the medicines and.. Uhhhh other medicines that the 'nurse' gave me. They said its for you since you've been out for the whole week-"

"A whole week?!?" Lolita yelled with shock because she wasn't aware that it was that long.

"My village! Is it fine? I need to know!!"

Harley grabbed Lolita's shoulders.

"Woah ma'am calm down, I'm gonna call someone because I have no idea on what you're talking about." He said with confusion and pressed the weird red button that glowed. Rooney came in.

"Oh my gOd?? You're aliVE!!" Rooney shouted and hugged Lolita. Lolita hugged back to him.

"Rooney, my village?" Lolita asked with eagerness. Roger shook his head and Lolita knew what he meant by that.

"Oh! Before I forget, he is a newcomer. He said he was lost at first but he said he was thrown here accidentally by a portal. Cool right?" Though Rooney looks mature, he is like a little kid in the inside with curiosity being all friendly with him. Lolita chuckled at him and Rooney just smiled.

"Sooo take your meds and take a rest. You still haven't fully recovered." Rooney said and prepared the proper medicines that Lolita needed. He left and bid a farewell to Harley and Lolita with a salute at the end.

"So do you want me to leave?" Harley asked. Lolita shook her head and Harley took his hat off.

"Well I----- am going to sleep here." He stretched, took his hat off, put it on the ground and slept on the chair.

Just by looking at Harley's face made her wonder out of nowhere. Lolita wondered but didn't know why she was wondering. She stared intensely at Harley's face then her question finally showed up.

'Have we met before?'
