Chapter two: Targeted.

Unknown's POV

I saw my next victim. A young, pretty girl who walked down the street with her group of friends. Little did she know I was coming for her. Of course, I've done my research.

Sixteen year old Jamie Summers, lived with her mother, father and her two brothers Jacob and Lucus. Her mother owned a cafe in the city and her father travelled a lot. Jamie had a boyfriend, Sam Carter, the star football player of their high school. What a perfect life but not for long. This should be easy.

I watched as one of her friends entered their house and then there were two. I was planning a time of when I should take her. I saw her walk past my car and she looked back as she recognised it but, she ignored it.

I turned around and drove a little closer to where she was walking and now I just sat and watch. I saw her pretty little face scanned the street as her friend left for her house and now she was fast walking and out of my sight. I waited five minutes and she should be at her address by now. I saw Jacob earlier waiting by the door for her but she wouldn't be returning anytime soon once I've got my hands on her.

I drove further up the street and saw her house in sight and parked across the street. I watched her through the window as she noticed my car again. I saw her disappear as she closed the curtains and locked the window and I would guess she was locking everything but there would be no need for that.

I had other business to attend too.

I set off down the street towards the river to dump two more bodies. I saw that the police surrounded it with yellow tape and investigators were searching for clues they would never find. I drove past the lake and headed to the other side, it was a pretty wide lake so they could hardly see me. I got out of the van, wearing everything black.

I opened up the back of my van and saw the two bodies of teenage girls inside a black trash bag. One by one, I dumped them both into the river. I saw one body sink and the other slowly drift away further into the middle of the river. I smiled at the sight and headed back into my van.

I drove away to my hideout where I planned my next victims attack.

Jamie's POV

I slowly walked towards my front door and unlocked every lock as slowly as I could. I placed my hand carfully onto the door handle and turned it slightly until I was able to open it. I opened the door slighty and peeked my head through and I smiled with relief.

I opened it even more until it was wide open. "Sam, what a surprise. I thought I was meeting you at your place." I saw my boyfriend standing there with a rose in his hand.

"Well, I wanted to make sure you were safe." He smiled.

I hugged him and kissed him on the cheek. "You don't have to worry." I blushed.

"For you." He smiled and handed me the rose.

"That's so sweet, I love roses." I smelt the beautiful red rose

"I know." He smirked.

"Come in, I'm just waiting for my brother to get home, he's probably with his girlfriend." I closed the door behind me as Sam walked in.

"Okay, I can wait." He smiled.

He sat himself onto the couch in the living room. "Make yourself at home while I finish preparing dinner." I remembered to lock the door and finished preparing dinner and once I was done, I cuddled next to Sam.

"Jamie, open the door! Why is it locked?" I heard Lucas' annoyed voice echo throughout the house.

"Sorry!" I yelled as I hurried to unlock the door. "Wheres your key?" I asked as I saw my older brother.

"I don't know," Lucas walked in, "Hey." He said to Sam.

"Hey." Sam replied.

"Bring my sister home." Lucas went into overly protective brother mode..

"Don't worry, I'll never let anything happen to my girl." Sam smiled and I blushed as I walked into the living room.

"Good because if something does happen, you'll be sorry." He finished.

"Lucas!" I yelled.

He rolled his eyes and went into his bedroom. He was nice one minute but horrible the next. "It's okay, he's just being a good big brother." Sam walked up to me and hugged me. "Ready?"

"Sure am." I said as I grabbed my bag with everything inside and we left the house and entered his two seater car. We headed into the city to the cinemas and we payed for our tickets. We sat down inside the theatre and watched the film.

"Best date yet?" Sam asked me as he placed his arm around me.

"Every date with you is the best." I smiled as we continued to watch the movie.

*

"I'll see you later." Sam dropped me home as he kissed me on the forehead.

"You sure will." I smiled and got out of his car. I watched him drive off as I waved goodbye.

I knew that the doors were locked as I stood on the sidewalk. I searched for my keys on sidewalk. I walked slowly on the pavement while still searching for my keys. It took me a while but I finally located them and now I had to find the right one. While I was multitasking, I heard something in the distance. I stopped and looked around to find nothing. Just a dark street with a few street lights.

Sighing, I found the right key and just as I was about to place the key in the lock, I dropped my keys onto the ground.

"Shit!" I cursed, getting annoyed. This wasn't going well.

I picked up my keys and attempted to do it again when someone grabbed me from behind and placed a hand over my mouth to stop me from screaming. I dropped my keys and my bag as I was trying to get away. I hadn't had time to process what was happening. I tried to struggle and scream for help but this someone was too strong.

I was dragged away from my house and onto the street. I saw a hand cover my mouth with a cloth. And with that, I blacked out and let the sleep take over me.

This had to be a dream, it had to be.
